2024 Rookie Tiers

It can be very useful to figure out tiers. I’d argue it’s more important than figuring out rankings because it allows you to trade up or trade back more strategically. Here are my 2024 rookie tiers for dynasty Superflex leagues through the first two rounds of a 12-team league.

Tier 1

This is the top tier with a potential generational WR and two great QB prospects. Caleb is safer with a strong talent floor and great weapons. Jayden Daniels is arguably inferior in talent and weapons, but his rushing upside makes up for that.

Tier 2

These are both great prospects with questionable landing spots. We’ll see if they can overcome their situations.

Tier 3

The QB here isn’t likely to be an elite option, but could be a solid QB2. Rome may have a rough first season, but could emerge after that.

Tier 4

The amazingTE prospect could have been in a higher tier if he ended up in a better landing spot. One WR is here because of his decent talent and amazing landing spot. The other is a good talent but with a decent landing spot. Brooks isn’t a top-level prospect, but could have a strong workload relatively soon to help with fantasy production. Nix doesn’t have much competition so is mainly here because he should be a starting QB this season.

Tier 5

There are two okay WR prospects here that are mainly on this list because of their amazing landing spot where they could demand a bunch of targets partway through the season. Benson could be great if he can take over from James Conner.

Tier 6

Penix is a highly drafted QB, which makes him deserving of this value, even though he may sit for 2+ years. There are a bunch of WRs here who could be buried on depth charts or who could emerge as a top-2 target option on their teams. Following that, there are three RBs who have potentially good landing spots but would need to overcome the veterans above them.

Wrap-Up

These are my 2024 rookie tiers. You don’t need to agree with it, but I hope this is helpful in giving you an idea of how to potentially value players. Trying to trade up to or down from the bottom of a tier, is a good way to maximize value.
