Belly Up DFS Picks: Week 6

This is the Belly Up DFS article for Week 6, were here to make you guys money. I’m here to give you the must-have players and the value players for your DFS lineup. My main goal with these articles is to make your Draft Kings, Fan Duel and Monkey Knife Fight rosters as strong as can be. This will hopefully become a weekly DFS article, and we hope it makes you weekly money.

Must Start

Quarterback

Patrick Mahomes: DK~$8,300 | FD~$9,000

It’s hard to not start Mahomes in every lineup, but this week, in particular, is a smash play. Currently, the Washington Football Team allows the sixth-most yards (1,467), has only four takeaways and six sacks on the 2021 Campaign. This seems like a match made in heaven for the former MVP, whose in need of a big rebound game.

Running Back

Jonathan Taylor: DK~$6,600 | FD~$7,500

Coming off a 2 TD, 169 yard game against one of the harder-hitting defenses in the game. Going into Week 6 Taylor has an absolutely juicy matchup against the Texans. The Texans have allowed the seventh-most yards (674) and have given up the most TDs (9) to opposing running backs. Be ready to play him in your daily lineups.

Wide Receiver

Ja’Marr Chase: DK~$6,700 | FD~$7,800

Chase has been a force in 2021 with 23 receptions for 456 yards and 5 TDs. The first-round pick has averaged 19.8 yards/reception. Chase is the sixth-highest scoring wide receiver in fantasy as of Week 5, while averaging 15.1 points/game. One thing to look at is the Lions’ defense has allowed 26 plays of 20 or more yards. Chase should have no problem breaking off a big play against the Lions’ week secondary.

Tight End

Travis Kelce: DK~$7,000 | FD~$8,500

Kelce has had a rough two-game outing posting 10 receptions, 80 yards, and a TD. Once again that was a two-game spread. This week against Washington sounds like a perfect redemption matchup for the elite tight end. Washington has allowed the second-most TDs (14) to opposing receivers, make sure to get Kelce in your lineups this week.

Defense

Green Bay Packers: DK~$3,600 | FD~$4,200

The Packers have been an okay defense this year, middle of the road in each defensive statistic. The thing that makes the Packers a solid start is Justin Fields is still not a strong football player. Look for the Packers to be a solid defense to play in DFS.

Values

Quarterback

Joe Burrow: DK~$6,300 | FD~$7,400

NFL Week 6 Fantasy football and DFS targets and fades: Joe Burrow, A.J. Brown and more | Fantasy Football News, Rankings and Projections | PFF
Jody Smith-PFF

This matchup has all the makeup of a high-scoring affair, with both teams strong on offense and weaker on defense. This makes Burrow a strong candidate for a breakout game, with Tee Higgins back and Ja’Marr Chase firing on all cylinders. This makes Burrow a strong player at his current price.

Running Back

Khalil Herbert: DK~$4,600 | FD~$5,500

This is a steal given his situation, as he has become the number one RB in the Bears backfield after Damien Williams went on the Covid-IR list. Herbert made the most of his opportunity, carrying the ball 18 times for 75 yards. In this situation he allows you to have a starting RB on your roster while pursuing a more expensive option at another position. Herbert has a chance to have a good game against the Packers and could be worth the low price.

Wide Receiver

Odell Beckham Jr: DK~$5,100 | FD~$6,000

OBJ is doing everything he needs to in this offense and production should be coming soon. Last Sunday Beckham was on the field for 86 percent of the team’s offensive snaps, running 31 routes but only getting three targets. This week he’s playing a weak secondary and this should give him the opportunities he needs to make this a productive week. At the very least he offers you a chance to cash in on less than costly WR1.

Tight End

Donald Parham Jr: DK~$2,900 | FD~$4,900

Parham has started to see his snap share go up in the past weeks and with that has come 2 TDs in two weeks. While Parham is incredibly TD dependent, his rise in targets and receptions is promising at the price and he should be considered a value at $2,900.

Defense

Cleveland Browns: DK~$2,600 | FD~$3,600

Last week the San Francisco 49ers got to Kyler Murray with their front four and put a lot of pressure on the talented QB. This week the Browns should apply that same strategy in this game and apply the pressure. So far this squad has 13 sacks and will need to bring the heat to keep the gunslinger on edge. Look for the Browns to get to Murray and make it interesting.

Monkey Knife Fight Props
