Week 7 QB Streamer

Tua Tagovailoa One Quick Thought

Here’s my Week 7 QB streamer article. If you want a recap of the idea behind QB streamers, you can check out my first article here. Last week, my Week 6 QB streamer was Taylor Heinicke who put up a disappointing 10.28, which was surprising against the Chiefs. Going 24 for 39, I’d expect Ryan Fitzpatrick to have a good chance of taking over again when healthy, not that this is relevant. Hopefully my selection this week does better. Here’s my QB streamer for the week.

Tua Tagovailoa

Coming off an injury, Tua Tagovailoa looked pretty good this past weekend against the Jaguars. He should have an even easier matchup this week against the Falcons.

With 17.18 fantasy points in his first game against New England and 22.36 in his next against Jacksonville, I’d expect he’ll be able to put up respectable numbers against the Falcons with all the weapons Miami has given him.

Miami’s defence hasn’t been great this year either, which could lead to a high scoring game. Also, their rushing game hasn’t been great so that could force them to throw more.

Wrap-Up

Maybe you drafted a QB later and are worried about your QB’s Week 7 matchup. In that case, Tua Tagovailoa could be a player to look at for a Week 7 QB streamer option. If you drafted a good starting QB, I probably wouldn’t bench him for Tua, but the Miami QB has the potential to be a solid fill-in.
