Week 4 has just finished, and we will look back at the best and worst RB Fantasy Football performances of the week. Take note that we are using Sleeper’s PPR scoring system for this analysis.
Golden DAWG: Josh Jacobs 34.50 FP
28 Carries, 144 Rushing Yards, 2 Rushing TDs, 5 Receptions, 31 Receiving Yards (Projected: 12.60 FP)
Josh Jacobs was the Raiders’ offense in their win against the Broncos in Week 4. In 33 touches, Jacobs got 175 total yards with two rushing TDs. In a game they had to win, Josh stepped up and put the Raiders at a 1-3 record. The Raiders will need Jacobs to be at his best when they face the Chiefs next week. Congratulations if you started Jacobs, as he was the second-best performing RB in fantasy this week.
Silver DAWG: Miles Sanders 29.60 FP
27 Carries, 134 Rushing Yards, 2 Rushing TDs, 2 Receptions, 22 Receiving Yards (Projected: 12.18 FP)
Miles Sanders bounced back from a Week 3 dud and had one of his best games. He rushed for 134 yards and two TDs against the Jaguars. Sanders looked like a star in one of the top rushing teams in the league. Currently, he is third in the league with 356 rushing yards.
Bronze DAWG: Rashaad Penny 28.70 FP
17 Carries, 151 Rushing Yards, 2 Rushing TDs, 1 Reception, 6 Receiving Yards (Projected: 11.40 FP)
Rashaad Penny had his best game of the year, where he rushed 17 times for 151 yards and two TDs. After three horrible weeks, Penny came out of nowhere for this one. He had big 36-yard and 41-yard TDs that helped Seattle in this wild game. Let’s see if he can continue this effort against the Saints in Week 5.
Golden FRAUD: Tony Pollard 1.80 FP
8 Carries, 6 Rushing Yards, 1 Reception (Projected: 11.12 FP)
Tony Pollard had a down game after his 105-yard game last week. He only rushed eight times for six yards and caught only one ball. The Commanders focused on stopping the run, and it worked. Ezekiel Elliott rushed 19 times for 49 yards and didn’t look good also. It’s very difficult to determine how Pollard will perform every week for fantasy owners.
Silver FRAUD: James Robinson 2.90 FP
8 Carries, 29 Rushing Yards (Projected: 11.82 FP)
James Robinson had his worst game of the season when he faced the elite Eagles’ defense. Robinson rushed for 29 yards on eight carries. His co-RB, Travis Etienne, also rushed for 32 yards on eight carries. James is still considered RB1 and faced a formidable opponent. Look for him to bounce back against the Texans.
Bronze FRAUD: Najee Harris 7.40 FP
18 Carries, 74 Rushing Yards (Projected: 14.88 FP)
Najee Harris had his best game in terms of yards per rush but didn’t receive a single reception which hurt his fantasy points. He rushed for 74 yards in 18 carries; however, Kenny Pickett got two rushing TDs which could have been for Najee. We hope that the change in QB could mean less pressure on Najee and better performance for one of the best RB in fantasy next week.
