Week 7 has just finished, and we will look back at the best and worst WR Fantasy Football performances of the week. Take note that we are using Sleeper’s PPR scoring system for this analysis.
Golden DAWG: Mecole Hardman 28 FP
4 Receptions, 32 Receiving Yards, 1 Receiving TD, 2 Carries, 28 Rushing Yards, 2 Rushing TDs (Projected: 8.08 FP)
Mecole Hardman played his best football in Week 7 against the 49ers. The Chiefs’ WR caught four passes for 32 yards and a TD. He rushed twice for 28 yards and two TDs. Hardman made his effort worth it, as he looked dangerous on the field. The Chiefs get a bye in Week 8. Let’s see how Mecole will do, especially with the addition of Kadarius Toney.
Silver DAWG: Marquise Goodwin 22.70 FP
4 Receptions, 67 Receiving Yards, 2 Receiving TDs (Projected: 3.30 FP)
Marquise Goodwin played his best game of the season against the Chargers. After D.K. Metcalf got hurt in the first quarter, Goodwin exploded for 67 yards and two TDs. His projections for fantasy football are dependent on Metcalf’s knee situation. Check the latest updates to see if Goodwin is worth the add.
Bronze DAWG: Tyler Boyd 29.50 FP
8 Receptions, 155 Receiving Yards, 1 Receiving TD (Projected: 10.69 FP)
Tyler Boyd balled out in the Week 7 win over the Falcons. He caught eight passes for 155 yards, which included a 60-yard TD catch from Joe Burrow. The Bengals look more and more dangerous each week, and having Tyler Boyd play like this, makes them an elite team in the AFC. His amazing fantasy football in Week 7 hopes to continue as he’s expected to do more with Ja’Marr Chase going to be out for a while.
Golden FRAUD: Drake London 1.90 FP
1 Reception, 9 Receiving Yards (Projected: 11.19 FP)
Drake London was limited to just one catch for nine yards in the Falcons’ loss to the Bengals. Just like Kyle Pitts, London’s performance was affected by Marcus Mariota throwing just 13 times, even if they were down early. His good start to the season has now been underwhelming the past few weeks.
Silver FRAUD: Courtland Sutton 5.30 FP
3 Receptions, 23 Receiving Yards (Projected: 11.45 FP)
Courtland Sutton wasn’t able to replicate his performance with Brett Rypien as the QB when the Broncos lost to the Jets 16-9. Sutton only had three receptions for 23 yards. It also hurt that Sauce Gardner was the one covering him. Sauce has been one of the best defenders in the league, so we can expect Sutton to bounce back next week against the Jaguars in Germany.
Bronze FRAUD: Tyquan Thornton 2.90 FP
1 Reception, 19 Receiving Yards (Projected: 7.91 FP)
Tyquan Thornton went back to earth in Week 7 after the Patriots lost to the Bears. The Pats’ WR caught just one pass for 19 yards. His performance last week was TD-dependent. Give credit to the Bears’ defense that shut down the Patriots after they scored 14 points in a quick span in the first half.
