Start ‘Em Or Sit ‘Em: Week 9

Who do I start and who do I sit? Ah yes, the age-old question in fantasy football. Well, you should start your studs and sit those who may lay an egg for your team any given week. The goal in fantasy football is obviously to start the right players. Players who can put up big numbers for a combined point total to beat your league-mates and to try and avoid the inevitable dud performance which can always be hard to predict.

***DISCLAIMER: When I say “sit em’” for a particular player, that doesn’t mean you are actually going to bench them unless I explicitly tell you to do so. Rather, it means to simply temper expectations as I predict that they are not going to score more points than they are projected to on the PrizePicks app.

QBs

Justin Herbert – Projected for 19.5 FPTS: He will hit the OVER as Atlanta is not very good against opposing QBs.

Justin Fields – Projected for 17.0 FPTS: He will hit the OVER as he now has another weapon for the offense and has started to play into his style of football over the past four weeks.

Joe Burrow – Projected for 20.0 FPTS: He will hit the OVER.

Kyler Murray – Projected for 19.5 FPTS: He will hit the OVER.

Geno Smith – Projected for 18.0 FPTS: He will hit the OVER.

RBs

Austin Ekeler – Projected for 24.0 FPTS: He will finish UNDER that score.

Raheem Mostert – Projected for 12.5 FPTS: He will finish UNDER that score because I think Jeff Wilson will play a part in that Dolphin’s offense because of Mike McDaniels.

Josh Jacobs – Projected for 18.5 FPTS: He will finish UNDER that score.

Travis Etienne – Projected for 17.0 FPTS: He will hit the OVER.

Joe Mixon – Projected for 17.5 FPTS: He will hit the OVER because of the poor Carolina run defense.

Dalvin Cook – Projected for 17.5 FPTS: He will finish UNDER that score.

Leonard Fournette – Projected for 15.5 FPTS: He will finish UNDER that score.

WRs

Tyreek Hill – Projected for 20.0 FPTS: He will hit the OVER.

Jaylen Waddle – Projected for 14.5 FPTS: He will hit the OVER.

Davante Adams – Projected for 17.5 FPTS: He will hit the OVER.

Stefon Diggs – Projected for 20.0 FPTS: He will finish UNDER that score.

Josh Palmer – Projected for 12.5 FPTS: He will hit the OVER because he has now been thrust into the WR1 role on the team and he is going to get the volume.

Terry McLaurin – Projected for 13.5 FPTS: He will hit the OVER because Taylor Heinicke is the QB and should have probably been to start the season too.

Rondale Moore – Projected for 10.5 FPTS: He will finish UNDER that score.

TEs

Kyle Pitts – Projected for 9.0 FPTS: He will hit the OVER because why not.

Tyler Conklin – Projected for 7.5 FPTS: He will hit the OVER.

James Mitchell – Projected for 3.5 FPTS: He will hit the OVER because teammate Brock Wright is overrated and Mitchell is the better athlete. Why not see what your new rookie can do?

Zach Ertz – Projected for 10.0 FPTS: He will hit the OVER.
