Fantasy Football Week 11 Sleepers & Streamers

The Week 11 list of Streamers and Sleepers is paper thin. For the most part, the good players will perform, the bad players won’t, and there’s very little left in between. Nonetheless, we’re back with a new crop of players that could be in for a big day, whether it be because of matchup or increased responsibility on offense. Let’s get into Week 11 Streamers and Sleepers!

The Difference Between Sleepers and Streamers in Fantasy Football

Sleepers are players that will continue to stay on your roster, perhaps in a backup or handcuff role. They are poised to have a big week based on matchup or injury. On the other hand, streamers are players that will be relevant only for this week. They are a quick pick-up and drop, hopefully with a big fantasy week in between.

Taysom Hill – New Orleans TE

Week 11 Streamer

The Saints have been worse than expected this year. Aside from Alvin Kamara and Chris Olave, every person on the team has underperformed or had extended stays on the injured list. They have lost four out of their last five games but, for some reason, are sticking with Andy Dalton at quarterback. Taysom Hill may not be the answer, but if he is eligible for the TE spot in your league, this week may be worth the risk to start him. If Dalton struggles, Hill could be in line for some quarterback play. The other option could be one of the Taysom Hill signature games of trick plays, runs, and the occasional reception. The Saints are desperate and Hill could be the gadget they need to eek out a win in Week 11. Streamer

Tyler Allgeier – Falcons RB

The Falcons currently have a four-headed monster at running back. There is Cordarrelle Patterson, Caleb Huntley, Tyler Allgeier and even Marcus Mariota. It’s tough to look at the lineup and see who will be the lead back this week. However, Allgeier did lead the team in carries last week, and the Falcons play against a Bears rush defense allowing 110 yards per game on the ground. It may be a toss up, but Allgeier has been heavily involved all season and has a very good matchup this week. Sleeper

Marquez Valdes-Scantling – Chiefs WR

The Chiefs head into the Sunday night matchup with the banged up Chargers. Patrick Mahomes should have a big night playing against the Chargers pass defense allowing over 225 yards per game. The Chiefs are down JuJu Smith-Schuster and Mecole Hardman, leaving Marquez Valdes-Scantling as the most experienced option at wide receiver. Valdes-Scantling and Hardman have similar game scripts, so look for MVS to fill the void. Sleeper

Foster Moreau – Raiders TE

The Raiders are a dumpster fire and it’s unreal that Josh McDaniels got another head coaching job. That’s neither here nor there. The Raiders may be bad, but they do have playmakers on offense. Foster Moreau could be one of those playmakers this weekend in the absence of Darren Waller. Moreau has seen his yardage go up every week over the past four weeks, including hauling in a TD last weekend against the Colts. He may not be the flashiest tight end, but he will likely demand five to seven targets and around 40-50 yards. Perhaps, he can keep his trend going on increasing his yardage for the fifth straight week. Streamer

Ben Skowronek – Rams WR

The Rams have had only one bright spot this year, and that has been Cooper Kupp. The All-Pro wideout is due to miss a few weeks because of a high ankle sprain, allowing some other players to step up. The first thought would be Allen Robinson, but he has severely underperformed all season. The frisky option would be Ben Showronek. Even with Robinson as the day-one starter, Showronek has recorded just 47 yards less receiving, eight fewer targets, and three fewer receptions. Kupp leaves behind a massive 10.8 targets per game, meaning Skowronek could be in for a big few weeks. Robinson hasn’t excelled at all this season, so I would avoid him and go with the young up and coming wideout. Streamer
