Here we are for day six of Best, Prop, Value. Today, we are riding with three of the late games and with no straight plays on the board.
A 1-1 day five as Masataka Yoshida continued his hot streak and cashed 2+ bases with a double in his first at bat.
The Red Sox as a team, though, struggled as they got smoked by the As in the game, and did not cash the first to four runs bet.
We had no value play on day five as the slate didn’t display much value, but we bring it back today with a play in all three categories.
After a short break, we look to cash out today, and to start us off we head to Boston for the best bet of the day.

Best Bet
Red Sox Braves NRFI +106
We are 0-1 in NRFI bets so far with Best, Prop, Value, but we return there again with a big time match up between the Boston Red Sox and Atlanta Braves.
The Braves currently sit atop the league with a 64-35 record but are only 4-6 in their last 10, whereas the Red Sox sit with a record of 54-47 and 6-4 in their last 10.
The NRFI is in play here due to the pitching matchup. The ace of both teams will be on the mound as Brayan Bello of the Sox takes on Spencer Strider of the Braves.
Bello has a 7-6 record and a 3.60 ERA, Strider is 11-3 with a 3.78 ERA.
The bats on both sides are great which makes this bet dangerous, but we are trusting the aces to get out of the first inning unscathed.
Prop Bet
Mets Under Four Runs -128
For the prop bet we head to the subway series where the New York Mets take on the New York Yankees.
The Mets smacked the Yanks yesterday winning 9-3 on the back of Pete Alonso’s two home run five RBI day.
Facing Carlos Rodon on the mound and after a big time hitting day yesterday, I like the Mets to struggle in this one, ultimately losing the game and scoring less than four runs.
The Mets have been scoring at a decent rate lately and haven’t been under the four mark many times in their last 10, but after last night this game smells like a blowout for the Yankees.
Value Bet
Texas Rangers +158
The value bet brings us to Texas as the 59-43 Texas Rangers take on the 58-44 Houston Astros.
A strong start to the season has the Texas Rangers atop the AL West standings, with the defending champion Astros right behind them.
This matchup brings us Andrew Heaney vs Framber Valdez in the pitching duel which is a fairly tight matchup when comparing the stats, with Valdez getting the slight edge.
The Rangers are in 6-4 the last ten whereas the Astros are 7-3, but in a pivotal matchup and at +158 odds I like the Rangers to win outright.
In Conclusion
Thank you for tuning into another day of Best, Prop, Value. Let’s have a day. Enjoy.
