Fantasy Championship Game Schedules

Right off the bat, let me say, first and foremost, Merry Christmas and happy holidays to all of my readers! This fantasy season has been an incredible journey, but we have arrived at the end. The fantasy football championships have arrived! Congratulations to all that are playing for the title. Truly, it is an accomplishment to be proud of! However, the NFL has a weird schedule going on this week that every manager needs to be aware of. There are no worries, though, as this Fantasy Championship Game Schedules edition has all of the information needed to set your lineup!

There are games that start on Christmas Day and go through to Monday, December 30. All of the games are listed, including the day and time they will start. There will even be a few fantasy notes sprinkled in along the way. As always, all comments or questions are highly encouraged. All times listed are Eastern. Let’s get into it!

Christmas Day Games

For many years, the NBA ruled Christmas Day. No longer, as the NFL decided to schedule games on the Holiday and pretty much rule every day on the calendar. There are two games on the docket. Additionally, notice that both games are on Netflix, adding another streaming service that customers must have in order to watch the action.

Kansas City Chiefs at Pittsburgh Steelers, 1 PM, Netflix

Note: expect the Chiefs will be involved in a one score game. It has been their M.O. all season. As for the Steelers, Kansas City has a strong defense, so decide carefully, who, if any, of their players will be in your starting lineup.

Baltimore Ravens at Houston Texans, 4:40 PM, Netflix

Just because this is Christmas week doesn’t mean there isn’t a Thursday game. In fact, this one will have special significance in the Wilson household as my brother’s team takes on my team from the Pacific Northwest.

Seattle Seahawks at Chicago Bears, 8:15, Prime Video

Note: the Bears have gone completely into hibernation, having lost every game since the infamous Hail Mary play against Washington. Even so, Caleb Williams has played well, throwing ten TDs and no interceptions in his last five games. Seattle’s defense has collapsed in recent weeks, making Williams a must start in fantasy.

Last week, there were two games on Saturday. This week, the NFL has three.

Los Angeles Chargers at New England Patriots, 1 PM, NFL Network

Denver Broncos at Cincinnati Bengals, 4;30 PM, NFL Network

Note: True, the Broncos have a strong defense, but it doesn’t matter when it comes to Joe Burrow. He has three or more touchdown passes in five straight games. If you have been rolling with him all season, as I have, there’s no reason to turn your back on him now.

Arizona Cardinals at Los Angeles Rams, 8 PM, NFL Network

Sunday, as usual, as the most games of the week. Six of them are in the one o’clock window and only two in the four o’clock slot.

New York Jets at Buffalo Bills, 1 PM, CBS

Note: When the season began, this looked like a marquee matchup. Of course, that’s no longer the case with the Jets’ complete collapse. Many still have several of their offensive players on the roster. Think long before committing any of them to your starting lineup.

Tennessee Titans at Jacksonville Jaguars, 1 PM, CBS

Green Bay Packers at Minnesota Vikings, 1 PM, FOX

Note: Obviously, this is a huge matchup. There should be bundles of players on fantasy rosters in this game.

Las Vegas Raiders at New Orleans Saints, 1 PM, FOX

Indianapolis Colts at New York Giants, 1 PM, FOX

Carolina Panthers at Tampa Bay Buccaneers, 1 PM, CBS

Note: Despite the loss to the Cowboys, Baker Mayfield is a must start in this game if on the roster. Carolina is awful on defense and the division championship is up for grabs. Expect a huge game from Mayfield in this one.

Miami Dolphins at Cleveland Browns, 4:05 PM, CBS

Dallas Cowboys at Philadelphia Eagles, 4:25 PM, FOX

Note: Those that have Jalen Hurts on their fantasy teams will need to pay particular attention to this game. Having suffered a concussion Sunday, his availability is in extreme doubt. It would certainly be advisable to have an alternative in place in case he doesn’t play.

Atlanta Falcons at Washington Commanders, 8:30 PM, NBC

Note: Starting Michael Penix was not advised in my last article. The Falcons won, but Penix didn’t throw for a TD and was intercepted. This Fantasy Championship Game Schedules edition says that it is wise to resist the temptation to start him this week as well.

The final game of the scoring period should be a good one. Even though it is the last game, there are plenty of fantasy options to consider in this game.

Detroit Lions at San Francisco 49ers, 8:15 PM, ESPN/ABC
