Over the past two weeks we have seen a wave of injuries! For most, a lot of these injuries have affected many first and second round picks but this does not mean you should hit the panic button. A good fantasy GM makes his/her money on the waiver or in trades. But with that being said, don’t try to be cute and think your going to land a kings ransom because someone lost a big name!

Hello, for those that don’t know me my name is Mike Brown and I am the founder of Belly Up Sports and Belly Up Fantasy Sports! I usually stay away from this site and let the guys with the real knowledge post but today I just need to reflect on some of the lamest trades I have received this year already!

So let me break it down for you quick! I am currently in five leagues, in these five leagues I have the following players:

• Jalen Reagor
• Debo Samuel
• Cam Akers

Yes I get it, I’m in five leagues… I’m bound to have some injuries… you guys are probably thinking I said it above, “A good fantasy GM makes his/her money on the waiver wire or in trades.” yada yada! You are all very right so this goes into the reason of this article. It’s week two and I am not panicking! But it seems everyone else around me IS, for me and wants to send me their trash!

Here Come The Trades

Last Week I received an offer: They were requesting Tyler Higbee and Amari Cooper for James Connor and Austin Hooper.

This week I received an offer: They were requesting Christian McCaffrey and Marquise Brown for Josh Jacobs.

THE BEST: They were requesting Christian McCaffrey for Jerick McKinnon

Now granted the above was just a sample size and I have been sent plenty of others that were sub par but the above take the cake! We all know someone like this and many of us have experienced a what should I call it, “Lopsided Trade”! But just because you lost a big name doesn’t mean sell the farm! It’s a long season and I have seen several sub .500 teams make the playoffs and even take the prize at the end!

While most articles from this site are informative and beneficial, I had to throw the one wrench into it! I would love to see some offerings that you guys have had that may make the above list! Feel free to drop them in the comments or under the thread in our social media links!
