Monday Night Madness: Four Bets for Monday Night Football

What another crazy NFL Sunday to begin Week 13. Due to COVID-19 we still have two matchups tonight and one tomorrow. We are being spoiled again for this being the fourth time this season having a doubleheader on Monday Night Football. Let’s look into Monday Night Madness and lock in four bets for the two Monday Night matchups that will keep you smiling and fill your pockets.

Monday Night Football Bets

Alex Smith overcame the impossible. Now he has Washington in playoff hunt - Deseret News

Football Team +6

The first matchup of Monday Night Football will include the Washington Football Team and the undefeated Pittsburgh Steelers. Washington is red hot winning their last two games to keep them in contention for the NFC East crown. This game is their biggest of the season for a number a reasons but mostly to keep pace with the New York Giants who upset the Seahawks in Seattle yesterday. Alex Smith has found a new hope with Washington as he’s made a remarkable comeback story and is now 2-1 as the starter. Smith has also had a lot of help and it’s been on the other side of the ball. Washington is 4th in the league in yards per game as they are only giving up 309.5. I know Pittsburgh is 11-0 on the season but I definitely could see them falling here on a short week. The Steelers also loss Bud Dupree to a season-ending injury last Wednesday. Washington has had 11 days to prepare for this game and I think that helps them tonight. Take Alex Smith and the Football Team.

Terry McLaurin Over 5.5 Receptions (-118)

We are going to lean on second year receiver “Scary” Terry McLaurin of the Washington Football Team. I was shocked when I saw this line when I was looking at props. Terry McLaurin is having a Pro Bowl year averaging 87.5 yards a game which is 5th most in the entire league. Terry is also is also averaging 6.2 receptions a game and has at least 7 receptions in five of his last six. I think Terry will continue to have a great season in Washington’s biggest game of the year.

Bills-49ers Over 47.5

Now this should be a good one. The Bills look to stay atop the AFC East as they travel to Phoenix to take on the 49ers. The game is in Phoenix due to the 49ers not being able to host games in the Bay area due to COVID-19. There’s two things I see in this matchup. The Bills lost a heartbreaker in this stadium just a couple weeks back losing on a DeAndre Hopkins Hail Mary receiving touchdown. The Bills don’t want to lose in the desert consecutive times to two different teams. The other point I see is that the 49ers are finally starting to get healthy again. Deebo Samuel, Raheem Mostert and Brandon Aiyuk should all be good to go tonight. With these two points, I just love the over. The Bills are 8-3 on the over for the season and 3-1 on the road and with San Francisco getting healthier, I just don’t see how it stays under this number. Take the points.

Josh Allen's growth is a testament to work ethic, competitiveness

Josh Allen Over 29.5 Rushing Yards

To wrap up the picks, I’m going with arguably the best player that will be taking the field on Monday Night. With this being a giant game for the Bills, Josh Allen is going to do anything to get this victory. This means him using his best strength, getting out of the pocket and making plays on his feet. Allen has went over 29 yards four times in his last six games and I don’t see him slowing down here. Take the over with Josh Allen and his rushing yards.

The odds are via Draft Kings and are subject to change.
