We are ready for more football. The Divisional Round is one of the most exciting weeks for football. We have four games that can honestly go either way and with the unpredictability comes the interesting outlook on which bets to take. Let’s look at the best bets to take for each game and which ones will most likely win on Divisional Round.
Rams Versus Packers (-6.5)
This game gives us a Rams defense that matches up well against the Packers’ offense and will likely give them problems the entire game. The Packers are going to adapt as this game goes on and the offense will eventually pick up. While the Rams defense has been playing great this season, the offense will struggle in this game. Jared Goff is still recovering from a thumb injury, the weather is supposed to be brutal, and the Packers defense is one of the more underrated ones in the NFL. Expect the Packers to win and cover the spread.
Ravens (+2.5) Versus Bills
This game might be one of the more exciting ones on the Divisional Round weekend. Both teams have young, mobile, and exciting quarterbacks as well as complete rosters. The Bills’ offense has looked unstoppable but the Ravens have the secondary to match up with the receiving corp. Expect this game to be one of the closest ones on the weekend and the one where we can see the first upset. The Ravens are the best bet since they can surprise many by advancing to the AFC Championship.
Browns Versus Chiefs: Over 50, Chiefs -6.5
We have learned from last week not to underestimate the Browns. After upsetting the Steelers, they can potentially give the Chiefs problems as they match up well with them. The Chiefs are expected to win this game but they are favored by 10.5 points, which is way too much. Expect the Chiefs to win by at least a touchdown. Likewise, the total on this game is 56 which is incredibly high. It would be advisory to bet the Over on an alternate total while also taking the Chiefs with an alternate spread.
Buccaneers Versus Saints Under 52.5
This game has been the most hyped of the week with Tom Brady and Drew Brees facing off for what might be the final time in their careers. Both teams have shown great offense in recent weeks but we can expect the defenses to take over in this game. The Saints can effectively rush four defensive linemen and have given Brady trouble in both games. Meanwhile, the Bucs defense has been exceptional at stopping the run and will give the Saints offense trouble the entire day. Expect the Under to cover with both offenses struggling and the defense playing great in the final Divisional Round game.
