Welcome to the Belly Up Bowl Week 10 Update! For the third consecutive season, Belly Up Fantasy Sports is proud to host the Belly Up Bowl fantasy tournament to raise money for charity. And for the second year in a row, we’re partnering with Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation for Childhood Cancer. This year, 72 teams across six leagues are vying for the trophy, a bit of prize money, and the right to call themselves the 2022 Belly Up Bowl champion. Each week from now until the championship game, we’ll update you on who’s hot and who’s not in each league, including notes on league standings and the top five overall ranking. Remember, this is a “Best Ball” format, and overall scoring is just as important as win-loss record.

Each Belly Up Bowl league is named after a real Alex’s Lemonade Stand Childhood Cancer Hero. We’ve linked to each of their stories in their league’s review, so we can keep in perspective why we’re all here. A reminder that in addition to the money we’re donating raised from players’ league entry fees, you can always donate directly to Alex’s Lemonade Stand. You can also check out the many other ways to help, either by utilizing one of the additional methods of giving, or by getting involved directly.

Scoring Format

Belly Up Bowl Week 10 Update: League Amara

League Amara saw a new leader emerge. Team HighLowSports ascended to the top spot with a 158.84-154.46 win over Team tjsumpter55- the narrowest victory in the league this week. Team tjsumpter55 finds themselves mired in a four week losing streak. Additionally, they are the highest-scoring team to have a losing record in the entire tournament. Team PapaDragon2005 took their third loss to drop to second, but maintained their scoring lead in the league. With the second highest score of the week in the league to close the scoring gap, Team JordanJames took advantage with a win. They now trail Team PapaDragon2005 by just 44.10 points. Team ripper80 saw a bit of bad luck, garnering the third-highest game score this week, but losing to Team CommishCooper. A remarkable six teams are tied at 4-6. Team tjsumpter55 holds down the last playoff position on the strength of their scoring total.

Belly Up Bowl Week 10 Update: League Heather

No change at the top of League Heather, as Team RyanMinerFFB and Team ADion802 both won to remain in first and second. For Team Adion802, it was their fifth straight win. Team epurdue21 had a great week. Their score of 184.38 was highest in the league. Not only did the win boost them three spots to third place, but vaulted them to the top of the league scoring tally. Blue Chase Stuffed Olaves had the third-highest score in League Heather, but found themselves cannon fodder for Team epurdue21’s assault on the top of the standings. Two interesting notes are in the bottom half of this league. @ShanePHALLAM is the lowest-scoring team with a .500 record in the entire Belly Up Bowl. Belly Up Adam has outscored four of his league mates, but has a nine game losing streak and the Bowl’s worst record at 1-9.

Belly Up Bowl Week 10 Update: League Landon

League Landon was one of three Belly Up Bowl leagues to see a new leader this week. Team venomsoldier01 had Landon’s high score this week and now leads both the standings and the scoring in the league. They blew out Bluealgae by 50.42 points to make a statement. Landon saw a shakeup lower in the standings as well. Team rrummel90 and Team drewdelaware both leapfrogged into playoff slots. For Team drewdelaware, it was their fourth win in a row, tops in League Landon. Conversely, last place Saint Bonifas is on a five week losing streak. Saint Bonifas can take a little solace in the fact that they are the highest-scoring last place team in the tournament. Because of that, League Landon is the closest league in scoring, with 304 points separating Team venomsoldier from Team badprodigy.

Belly Up Bowl Week 10 Update: League Leevi

Team BuckeyeFan91 can hold their head high. They’re not only in first place in League Leevi as one of just two teams in the Belly Up Bowl at 9-1. They’re the top scoring team in the entire tournament with 1,969.36 points. Only seven other teams have over 1,800 points, and Team BuckeyeFan91 leads the second-highest scoring team (Team thorhalla of League Preslie) by 105.12 points. Just behind them in the league standings, UrbanKickedHim is in second place with an 8-2 record and enjoying a seven game win streak. That’s tied for the longest win streak in the Belly Up Bowl. Team BellyUpWill is second in Leevi in scoring, but sits in fourth place with a record of 6-4. Last place Team KANGASMAN91 is currently on a four game losing streak.

Belly Up Bowl Week 10 Update: League Mary

League Mary is the third league to see a new team atop the leaderboard heading into Week 11. @EmPoweredFF didn’t just take the top spot in the standings from Team sugarfreemocha, they took the lead in scoring as well. Both teams are on lengthy win streaks. @EmPoweredFF has won six straight, while Team sugarfreemocha has won seven in a row. In fact, League Mary is home to numerous streaks. Team All22FantasyGM has won four straight. On the other end of the streak spectrum, Team blainebellyupsports has lost their last six games. Their loss to thebeav1228 was the biggest blowout in the tournament this week. Last place KZfromPressBox has lost four straight. Despite the pair of juggernauts at the top of the standings, League Mary is the lowest-scoring of the six Belly Up Bowl leagues.

Belly Up Bowl Week 10 Update: League Preslie

League Preslie is a league of extremes. Team thorhalla sits atop League Preslie with a tournament-best 9-1 record and the second-most points across all leagues. At the bottom, Team ShaneSays is the lowest-scoring team in the tournament, with just 1,280.84 points. The 583.40 points separating them represents the largest such discrepancy in the league. Elsewhere, Team CommishCasey is on a five game win streak, while Team rusj75 has won four in a row. Fat Bastard, however, has lost four straight. Fifth place General Mills is the lowest scoring Belly Up Bowl team to have a winning record. Conversely, Team DirrtyHarry5 is the highest scoring Belly Up Bowl team not currently in a playoff spot.
