We have reached the quarter-pole of the 2022 fantasy season, and it’s time for the Belly Up Bowl Week 4 Update. For the third consecutive season, Belly Up Fantasy Sports is proud to host the Belly Up Bowl fantasy tournament to raise money for charity. And for the second year in a row, we’re partnering with Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation for Childhood Cancer. This year, 72 teams across six leagues are vying for the trophy, a bit of prize money, and the right to call themselves the 2022 Belly Up Bowl champion. Each week from now until the championship game, we’ll update you on who’s hot and who’s not in each league, including notes on league standings and the top five overall ranking. This is a “Best Ball” format, and overall scoring is just as important as win-loss record.
Each Belly Up Bowl league is named after a real Alex’s Lemonade Stand Childhood Cancer Hero. We’ll link you to each of their stories in their league’s review, so we can keep in perspective why we’re all here. A reminder that in addition to the money we’re donating raised from players’ league entry fees, you can always donate directly to Alex’s Lemonade Stand. You can also check out the many other ways to help, either by utilizing one of the additional methods of giving, or by getting involved directly. With that, let’s dive into the Belly Up Bowl Week 4 Update.
Scoring Format
Belly Up Bowl Week 4 Update: League Amara
League Amara has seen a clear top two emerge after the season’s first four weeks, with Team HighLowSports (823.18 total points scored) and Team PapaDragon2005 (807.96) separated by fewer than four points per game. Team HighLowSports leads the way at 4-0, while Team PapaDragon2005 is 3-1. After them, a full eight teams are tied at 2-2. Belly Up Bowl Week 4 Update: League Heather
League Heather is in the interesting position of its top-scoring team not in the lead at this point. Team RyanMinerFFB (723.56) is actually only sixth in the league in scoring, but has a 4-0 record. Top scorer The CHAMP is here! (739.06) comes in second at 3-1. Team aerickson (653.06) is also at 3-1 in third place, but is the third-lowest scoring team to date. Parity rules the day in League Heather, as each team has won at least one game. Four teams sit at 1-3. Five more teams sit the fence at .500, with two wins and two losses each. Less than one point separates sixth and seventh places. In all, League Heather is the closest league in point distribution, with only 115.26 points separating the top- and bottom-scoring teams.
High Risers: Team aerickson & Team ADion802 (Both +3)
Fast Faller: Team 18n1CallMeGreat (-4)
Belly Up Bowl Week 4 Update: League Landon
League Landon appears to be a league of Haves and Have-Nots. Team GenesisFantasyCards (698.34) slots into first place with a 4-0 record, despite being tied for just fifth in the league in scoring (Saint Bonifas in fifth place is just 2-2 with an identical scoring total). Team sportsfansc is tied with Team PickleRiot66 and Team rrummel90 at 3-1. But Team sportsfansc leads the league in scoring over Team PickleRiot66, 845.02-749.54. After the top four teams, three more are at 2-2. A fairly remarkable five teams sit at just 1-3. Giving them some hope, however, that group includes the teams sitting third and fourth in points on the season.
High Riser: Team badprodigy (+4)
Fast Faller: Team Rindo (-3)
Belly Up Bowl Week 4 Update: League Leevi
In League Leevi, five teams seem to be running away from a points-scoring standpoint. Team BuckeyeFan91 paces the league at 4-0 with 859.64 points. Also at 4-0, Team CaptainLou65 is third in scoring at 753.50. Monkey Fighting Snakes (766.38) and Team BellyUpMike (750.82) are tied at 3-1. UrbanKickedHim (740.24) sits in fifth place at 2-2, but just over 10 points behind. Fully half the league (six teams) find themselves at 1-3. Wil Sea (2-2) currently holds the coveted sixth spot in the standings, but five of the six teams behind them in the standings have scored more than Wil Sea’s 631.40.

Also at 3-1, Team FFReserve (684.36) has been outscored by a trio of teams at 2-2 who each have scored over 708 points. Team GoingFor2DotCom (0-4) has had some bad luck. They’ve scored more than each of the three teams in front of them in the standings.
High Risers: Team FFReserve & Purple Pride (Both +3)
Fast Faller: Team BellyUpKev (-4)
Belly Up Bowl Week 4 Update: League Preslie
Team thorhalla has ridden some good luck to a 4-0 record to lead League Preslie. Sitting just third in scoring, Team thorhalla has seen teams score just 575.18 points against them. That’s the fewest points against any team in the Belly Up Bowl across leagues. Team crewser128 appears to have a rabbit’s foot tucked under their tailbone pad as well. Team crewser128 has only outscored opponents 650.58-614.56, but is also 4-0 on the year. Tops in points is General Mills (761.16), who sit in third place at 3-1. On the other end of the luck spectrum is Team rusj75. They’ve outscored opponents 696.88-692.02, but are stuck in tenth place at just 1-3.
