Best, Prop, Value Day 12

Day 12 of Best, Prop, Value is here, and it couldn’t come after a better day.

Day 11 was a homerun as all three baseball bets were winners. Easy winners.

Cleaning up on day 11 gives us some wiggle room for day 12, but it would be even nicer to have back to back 3-0 days.

The best bet came easy as the Los Angeles Dodgers smoked the Padres 13-7, and what made that even better is the Mookie Betts prop bet of 2+ bases hit as well.

Mookie finished the day with one homerun and four RBIs.

The final play of the day was our value bet which came from Chicago, and was a relatively easy winner as well with the White Sox beating the Yankees 5-1.

To kick off day 12, we head to Cincinnati for the best bet.

Best Bet

Cincinnati Reds -123

The Cincinnati Reds are one of the biggest surprises in baseball this season, as well as being one of the more fun teams to watch. This is mostly due to rookie sensation Elly De La Cruz.

De La Cruz has helped propel the Reds to a 60-56 record while batting .264 with 22 RBIs.

The Marlins enter the matchup at 59-56 and with 462 runs which is 26th in the league.

The pitching duel favors the Reds, though neither pitcher is having a standout season.

Prop Bet

Yankees-White Sox Over

For the prop bet we go somewhere we haven’t gone often during this series, and that’s to the over-under line.

Today, we will be siding with the over. Both Luis Severino and Mike Clevinger are struggling somewhat this season, Severino especially, as he holds a 7.74 ERA.

Combine the pitching struggles with the low scoring in the past two games and we have a chance here.

Saying that, though, the over hasn’t been a hot spot in this series. But, we take the risk and hope it hits today.

Value Bet

Nationals +160

This is a bet I’m not necessarily not confident in, but it wouldn’t be my top choice on a board filled with value bets.

That’s the problem today though. There just isn’t much value out there, so we’ll roll with the Washington Nationals +160 vs the Philadelphia Phillies.

The Phillies after a surprising World Series appearance last season have used that motivation well starting with a 62-51 record this season.

They’re also one of the best ranked teams in batting average in the league this season with a ninth placed .255 team batting average.

The Nationals on the other hand are 49-64 and 6-4 in their last 10. We are hoping today they just get hot in the batters box and bring in a win for us.

The pitching matchup will be MacKenzie Gore of the Nationals versus Michael Lorenzen of the Phillies.
