Betting, Gambling

Best, Prop, Value Day Five

Welcome back to Best, Prop, Value. Today is the fifth day, as day four ended with another 2-1 record. Considering the value bet was +750 and the only loss, we take it.

The best bet was a bit of a stressful one as the Los Angeles Dodgers trailed all game from the first inning until the fifth when Chris Taylor hit a grand slam to give the Dodgers a 6-4 lead.

The Boston Red Sox cashed the prop bet easily as they scored six runs in the same number of innings. They finished the game with a 7-0 win.

The aforementioned +750 value bet was the only loss as Mookie Betts went 1-5 on the day and did not record a homer.

For the best bet, we go to familiar territory with the Boston Red Sox.

Best Bet

Masataka Yoshida 2+ Bases -105

The Red Sox continue to roll as they cashed another bet for us last night. Being that they are 8-2 in their last 10 and in a series vs the struggling As I’m just going to go there again.

A bit of a different approach this time as we are going with a player prop though. Masataka Yoshida has been on an absolute tear in his first league in the majors hitting .316 with 50 RBIs.

He had a tough game yesterday as he only went 1-4, looking for a bounce-back game here in a game where the Sox should score runs and win easily.

He is batting .409 in his last 11 games.

Prop Bet

Red Sox First to Four Runs -140

For the prop bet, we stay with the Sox. Like I just stated above, they’re rolling, they’re cashing bets for us and they’re playing the As. I’m staying with them until the wheels fall off.

Today we are going with a similar play to yesterday, but instead of taking the team over itself, we are taking the first to four.

The Red Sox should easily score four runs in this game, it just depends on if they do it first, and unless the As come out hot in the first couple of innings then they should get to four before the As.

They held the As scoreless yesterday and to a combined nine runs in their three-game series last week.

Value Bet

No Play

Just another day where there is really no value in straight bets. The highest odds are +192 for the Colorado Rockies vs the Houston Astros.

I’m going with a no-play today on the value side, but if you wanted to take one I’d go with the Washington Nationals +140 against the Chicago Cubs.

It’s a horrible pitching matchup, the over nine runs might be in play here, and the Nats have a chance to squeak it out with +140 odds.

The first day with no play, hopefully, a better slate tomorrow.

In Conclusion

That’s it for day five of Best Prop, Value, let’s try to grab a 2-0 day here. Enjoy.
