Buy Low and Sell High in Week 4

Now that we have gone through 3 weeks of football, people are now starting to form new opinions on players. Over the first two weeks, people may still be valuing players based on where they were drafted. However, the impressions NFL players are giving are becoming more solidified. Performances can no longer be easily dismissed as early-season overreactions. To help you navigate this, here are some suggestions on who to buy low and sell high in week 4.

Buy Low

Justin Jefferson

He was in consideration for the 1.01 in fantasy drafts and many are now doubting his abilities. After back-to-back bust games, this may be the best time ever to buy Justin Jefferson. I would give up any WR not named Cooper Kupp for him. Ja’Marr Chase is another highly drafted WR who has had bad back-to-back games that I would target but I don’t think he’ll bounce back the way Jefferson will.

Dalvin Cook

He’s injured, but that’s not new for Dalvin Cook. I would be surprised if he misses more than one week. So this may be a good time to propose a trade for him if you can afford to wait for his return. If you want another name, D’Andre Swift is another productive RB who looks to miss a few games but should be back soon.

Sell High

Jaylen Waddle

Those involved in the Dolphins receiving game had a huge boost from that Baltimore game. That one anomalous game has hugely boosted Tua‘s, Tyreek’s, and Waddle‘s numbers. We have seen from the previous year and the other two games that this is unlikely to be a regular occurrence.

Garrett Wilson

Joe Flacco has peppered Elijah Moore, Garrett Wilson, and Corey Davis with targets to various extents. He may be the best NFL QB these receivers will play with this season. With how poorly Zach Wilson played last year, I would be concerned about the three going forward. Especially with how Garrett Wilson is currently a borderline WR1/2, I would try to see if I could pivot away for a more solid WR1 or high-end WR2 before the sophomore QB returns from his injury.

Wrap-Up

There are plenty of other buy-low and sell-high options but these are a few of them. I’ll be back every week with new names, but here are some ideas for who to buy low and sell high in week 4.
