DraftKings DFS Picks for Week 12

After a long hiatus, I’m back to give you my Draft Kings Week 12 Picks for the main slate of games! This week we have a Seattle Seahawks stack, a couple of great matchups and a shot in the dark play at tight end. I hope we can get you paid this week and continue to going forward. Lets get it started in Week 12. Good Luck everyone!

Quarterback

Justin Herbert~ $7,000

Justin Herbert is a different quarterback when Keenan Allen is on the field. The historical averages are stunningly better for Herbert with Allen (25 FPPG) than without Allen (20 FPPG). Herbert has been a good quarterback this year, just not a great fantasy asset. Herbert is fifth in passing yards (2,730), seventh in passing touchdowns (16), and second in passing attempts (416). The Cardinals have allowed the fourth most fantasy points to quarterbacks (19.6 FPPG) and have given up the most passing TDs in the league (21). Herbert is the cheapest big-three quarterback on the market and against Arizona this week, and you should get him into your Draft Kings lineup.

Geno Smith  ~ $6,000

Joe Nicholson – USA TODAY Sports

Geno Smith is coming off back-to-back QB1 performances and looking at one of the easiest matchups against the Las Vegas Raiders. Smith has consistently scored at least two touchdowns in all but two games this year. He’s also got a true completion percentage of 77%, which is a league-high and also the reason he’s been incredibly consistent this year. The Raiders have the fewest takeaways this year (6) and are allowing 21 FPPG to quarterbacks this year. At $6,000, Smith is a monster steal.

Running Back

Kenneth Walker ~ $6,900

The Seattle Seahawks have a winner in Kenneth Walker since his first start in Week 6. Walker has had three of five starts go for RB1 weeks. Last week was his worst rushing week, but he made up for it by catching six passes for 55 yards. The Raiders have allowed the most receiving yards to opposing running backs (538) and 20.7 FPPG. This game will favor the Seahawks run the first scheme and should allow for Walker to have a big game, whether it’s on the ground, through the air, or both. You’re going to want him in your Draft Kings lineup.

Jeff Wilson Jr ~ $5,900

  Michael Fabiano – Si.com

Jeff Wilson will get his first official start this year with Raheem Mostert out against the Houston Texans. Since joining the Dolphins, Wilson has put together two of his best games this year, collecting 215 scrimmage yards and two touchdowns. Wilson gets the worst run defense in the league, and the Texans have allowed the most rushing yards (1,535) and TDs (13). This seems like the perfect match to exploit on Draft Kings today.

Wide Receivers

De’Andre Hopkins ~ $7,700

De’Andre Hopkins is matchup-proof and proved that last week with his nine-catch, 91-yard performance in a blowout loss. In every game but one, Hopkins has had at least 12 targets and finished in the top 12 wide receivers. This week the Cardinals play the Chargers, allowing 19.2 FPPG against wide receivers. This week the Cards get Marquise Brown and Kyler Murray back which should set up for a fantasy bonanza game this week. Hopkins is going to be a nice play on Draft Kings this week.

DK Metcalf ~ $6,500

DK Metcalf has averaged 15 FPPG with Geno Smith, higher than any other quarterback, including captain corny himself (Russell Wilson). The Raiders have allowed 20.5 FPPG to wide receivers in 2022, and they have to stop Metcalf and Tyler Lockett, both top-24 receivers in fantasy. Look out for the Seattle team this week; they are the stack to grab on Draft Kings.

Tight Ends

Gerald Everett ~ $4,400

Gerald Everett is an interesting tight end choice this week. No Mike Williams could lead to more red zone targets for Everett this week. Prior to his injury in Week 10, Everett had a redzone target in his previous five games. The Cardinals have allowed 13 FPPG to tight ends this year and with more options to take away attention from Everett I expect he’ll see enough targets to be a top 10 tight end in Week 12.

David Njoku ~ $3,600

David Njoku is playing this week and should be someone in your Draft Kings lineup. Njoku has been a TE1 four out of his eight starts this year. Last week was his first week back from injury and he played in 35% of the teams snaps. Look for him to be more involved this week and he’ll have a good chance to be a tight end one in what could be a highly contentious game against the Bucs.

Defense

New York Jets ~ $3,300

The Jets defense has played well above average this year. Currently they are the seventh best defense in fantasy and since Week 3, they are the third best. The Jets have the fifth most interceptions (11) in the league and might have a better turnover differential (+1) if the didn’t have Zach Wilson‘s six turnovers going against them. The Bears will also be missing Justin Fields this week, so Chicago might be hapless this week.
