Fantasy Football

Fantasy Sleepers In 2023 Dynasty Drafts

For Dynasty League managers this time of the year is one of the most crucial parts of the whole year. Cutting down your roster ahead of your fantasy draft. In my league, I have to cut my roster down to 10 spots. That leaves me with a bench to fill.

Young Quarterbacks

Desmond Ridder & Brock Purdy

These quarterbacks are two I would not mind having on my roster heading into the 2023 season. Desmond Ridder has a lot going for him and a lot of good pieces around him. He was a star in college and hasn’t gotten his opportunity so far in the Pros. Instead of using your early draft picks on guys like CJ Stroud or Bryce Young, Ridder is a great option for later rounds.

The 49ers are a little more tricky. It seems like Brock Purdy would be the starter after his heroics last season but you never know. If he were to miss any games Trey Lance would be playing for the starting job. Either way, I like Brock and the way he played last year. The 49ers are one of the better-built teams in all of football. Purdy doesn’t have to look too far for a playmaker.

Veterans

Robert Woods, Marvin Jones, and Hunter Renfrow

After a slow season on the Titans, Woods is now playing for the Texans. I think there’s a chance he becomes their most targeted option. They are a young team and his experience could be what moves him into that role. He is on the tail end of his career and I think he is hungry to perform at a high level again before he calls it quits. He has been a great fantasy player over the course of his career

Marvin Jones is heading back to Detroit. He is going to be an easy player for Lions fans to cheer on.

With Jameson Williams sidelined for the first 6 weeks there is a prime opportunity for Jones to carve out his role of the past. The Lions are quickly becoming one of the more exciting offenses in football.

Hunter Renfrow is a player I have considered picking up and keeping before the draft. He has a nice history in the league and has room for improvement. With their new quarterback in town, some extra targets could be coming his way. The only downside is Jakobi Meyers competing for touches.

Back Ups

Jonnu Smith

Jonnu Smith is coming off two down years with the Pats. It was never a good fit. Although I still think Jonnu can be successful especially if Kyle Pitts were to miss any time.

Zamir White

Zamir White is in a good spot. Josh Jacobs’s future with the team is in question. If he doesn’t resign from the team, Zamir White may be the starting running back for Vegas.
