Week 6 has just finished, and we will look back at the best and worst QB Fantasy Football performances of the week. Take note that we are using Sleeper’s PPR scoring system for this analysis.
Golden DAWG: Teddy Bridgewater 20.16 FP
329 Passing Yards, 2 Passing TDs, 2 Interceptions, 1 Carry, 10 Rushing Yards (Projected: 0 FP)
Teddy Bridgewater had to step up when Skylar Thompson had to leave a game with a thumb injury. Bridgewater threw for 329 yards and two TDs but also had 2 INTs. With Tua Tagovailoa expected to return in Week 7, Bridgewater will return to the bench and back to the waivers in fantasy football.
Silver DAWG: Joe Burrow 32.50 FP
300 Passing Yards, 3 Passing TDs, 4 Carries, 25 Rushing Yards, 1 Rushing TD (Projected: 19.96 FP)
Prior to this game, Joe Burrow was last in this stadium during the 2020 National Championship Game. He did not disappoint in his return to New Orleans. Burrow threw for 300 yards and three TDs and rushed for 25 yards and a TD in Week 6 against the Saints. He played his best game of the season and is starting to look better each week. Look for him to have a big game against the Steelers in Week 7. Burrow is starting to look like one of the elite QBs in football.
Bronze DAWG: Matt Ryan 27.16 FP
389 Passing Yards, 3 Passing TDs, 1 Carry, -4 Rushing Yards (Projected: 16.64 FP)
Matt Ryan looked like the QB we expected him to look like in the Colts’ win over the Jaguars. The Colts QB threw for 389 yards and three TDs. His performance put him past Dan Marino for seventh all-time in passing yardage. Let’s see if he can continue his groove after his Week 6 performance.
Golden FRAUD: Carson Wentz 4.16 FP
99 Passing Yards, 2 Carries, 2 Rushing Yards (Projected: 16.34 FP)
Carson Wentz somehow led the Commanders to a 12-7 win over the Bears in TNF. He did this by throwing just 99 yards and no TDs. Wentz broke his ring finger on his right hand during the game and had successful surgery. He is expected to return after four weeks.
Silver FRAUD: Zach Wilson 4.50 FP
110 Passing Yards, 5 Carries, 1 Rushing Yard (Projected: 16.68 FP)
Zach Wilson didn’t have to do much in the Jets’ upset win over the Packers. The defense dominated with four sacks, two blocked kicks and a special teams TD. The running game produced 179 rushing yards and two TDs. This is why Wilson only threw for 110 yards. The Jets have been a genuine surprise this season, as they are currently 4-2 after Week 6.
Bronze FRAUD: Justin Herbert 9.42 FP
238 Passing Yards, 1 Interception, 2 Carries, 9 Rushing Yards (Projected: 20.31 FP)
Justin Herbert played poorly against the Broncos in the Chargers’ 19-16 win in MNF. Herbert didn’t throw a TD for the first time in 26 games. Many people noticed that he threw mostly short routes and could still be affected by his rib injury earlier in the season. He has a great matchup with the Seahawks in Week 7 to bounce back and be a dominant QB in fantasy football.
