Howdy, y’all! Christopher Pinto here of Belly Up Fantasy Sports. With the NFL Draft wrapped up, I could not think of a better follow us series to my debut by sharing my top 10 rankings at each position for re-draft PPR leagues. During this series, I will give stats and my own personal rankings for each position. For my second article in the series, I will visit with the wide receiver position. For my fantasy teams, the wide receiver position has always been fun to try to predict. These guys are speedsters, titans, and acrobats. Wide receivers are one step away from a home run ball and have evolved over the past five seasons. There are a lot of ways to rank your guys. I’ve used film, stats, and my gut to bring you my Redraft Top 10 Rankings List: Wide Receiver Edition.
10) Chris Godwin – Tampa Bay Buccanners
Godwin makes my top 10 rankings at the tenth spot. The 6’1″ 209lb former Nittany Lion averaged 68.4 snaps per game and had a remarkable finish, placing second among wide receivers in terms of points scored; 276.1 total. Godwin’s stat line is 86/1,333/9. Chris Godwin gets the G.O.A.T. Tom Brady, an efficient passer, and that could spell a downturn in snaps for Godwin. In conclusion, Godwin looks to build off of an amazing season. Because of this, Godwin makes my top 10 rankings list and will be a sound WR1.
9) Odell Beckham Jr. – Cleveland Browns
Odell Beckham Jr. makes my top 10 rankings at the ninth spot. The 5’11” 198lb former LSU Tiger averaged 63.6 snaps per game and finished in the top 25 of wide receivers in terms of points scored; 201.3 total. His stat line is 74/1,035/4. OBJ played through pain and injury last season but is said to be rehabbing very well. He is even on track to be ahead of schedule. Another season under the belt of his quarterback and Beckham Jr. will once again be in the top 10 discussions. In conclusion, Beckham Jr. makes my top 10 rankings list, and due to his situation, he will finish the year as a WR1.
8) Amari Cooper – Dallas Cowboys
Amari Cooper makes my top 10 rankings at the eighth spot. The 6’1″ 210lb former Bama All-American averaged 53.1 snaps per game and made the top 10 of wide receivers in terms of points scored; 246.5 total. Cooper’s stat line is 79/1,189/8. After an up and down season, Amari Cooper and the gang look to have a much more stable year. Because of this, Cooper will repeat as a top 10 guy. Overall, Cooper makes my top 10 rankings list, and due to his situation, he will be a WR1.
7) Kenny Golladay – Detroit Lions
Golladay makes my top 10 rankings solidly at the seventh spot. The 6’4″ 214lb former Northern Illinois pass-catcher averaged 59.9 snaps per game and above all with wide receivers finished number nine overall in terms of points scored; 248 total. His stat line is 65/1,190/11. Golladay, like some, played without his Pro Bowl quarterback last season, but still managed to put up points. In summary, Kenny G. looks to have a monster year and makes my top 10 rankings list. Due to his situation, he will be a top-end WR1.
6) Mike Evans – Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Evans makes my top 10 rankings and sits in the sixth spot. The 6’5″ 225lb former Fightin’ Texas Aggie averaged 62.3 per game and finished among wide-outs number 15 overall in terms of points scored; 232.7 total. His stat line is 67/1,157/8. Evans loses a gunslinger quarterback, yet gains the G.O.A.T. Because of Evans’s talent, build, and speed, he clearly makes my top 10 rankings list. In closing, Evans looks to have a phenomenal year due to some big changes; he will finish as a top-end WR1.
5) Davante Adams – Green Bay Packers
Davante Adams makes my top 10 rankings and snags the fifth spot. The 6’1″ 215lb former Fresno State play-maker averaged 57.8 snaps per game and finished as the 22nd best wide-out in terms of points scored; 212.7 total. His stat line is 83/997/5. Adams was injured for the beginning of the 2019 season, yet still managed to almost break the 1,000-yard mark. Therefore, being fully healthy and ready to rock, Davante Adams makes my top 10 rankings list. Due to his situation, he will be a top-end WR1.
4) DeAndre Hopkins – Arizona Cardinals
DeAndre Hopkins makes my top 10 rankings at number four. The 6’1″ 212lb former Clemson Tiger averaged 66.7 snaps per game and above all finished among wide receivers number five in terms of points scored; 269.5 total. Nuk’s stat line is 104/1,165/7. DHop joins in the brand new air raid offense and should be exciting. Because of this, he makes my top 10 rankings list; and due to his situation, he will be an elite WR1.
3) Tyreek Hill – Kansas City Chiefs
Tyreek Hill makes my top 10 rankings and slides into the third spot. The 5’10” 185lb former West Alabama speedster averaged 47.3 snaps per game and finished in the top 35 in terms of points scored; 188.3 total. The Cheetah’s stat line is 58/860/7. Hill had a nasty injury to start the 2019 season but came back strong. He will look to bounce back and complete the 2020 season on top. Because of this, he makes my top 10 rankings list. Due to the sheer speed of Tyreek, he will be an elite WR1.
2) Michael Thomas – New Orleans Saints
MT makes my top 10 rankings and ranks number two. The 6’3″ 212lb former Ohio State Buckeye pass-catcher averaged 59.9 snaps per game and above all finished among pass-catchers number one in terms of points scored; 374.6 total. His stat line is 149/1,725/9. Thomas had a historic season and looks to keep chugging along. Even with Drew Brees set to retire soon, and an eventual regression from his monster season, Thomas makes my top 10 rankings. Due to his epic 2019 campaign, I believe he continues the trend, he will be an elite WR1 by season’s end.
1) Julio Jones – Atlanta Falcons
Julio Jones makes my rankings list and scores the number one roster spot. The 6’3″ 220lb former Crimson Tide undefeated National Champion averaged 55.6 snaps per game and above all finished among wide receivers number three in terms of points scored; 274.1 total. Julio’s stat line is 99/1,394/6. Jones is the epitome of consistency, and, because of that, makes my top 10 rankings. In closing, due to the stats and facts, he will be an elite WR1 by season’s end.
