Who do I start and who do I sit? Ah yes, the age-old question in fantasy football. Well, you should start your studs and sit those who may lay an egg for your team any given week. The goal in fantasy football is obviously to start the right players. Players who can put up big numbers for a combined point total to beat your league-mates and to try and avoid the inevitable dud performance which can always be hard to predict.
***DISCLAIMER: When I say “sit em’” for a particular player, that doesn’t mean you are actually going to bench them unless I explicitly tell you to do so. Rather, it means to simply temper expectations as I predict that they are not going to score more points than they are projected to on the Sleeper app.
Joe Burrow
I predict that Joe Burrow will outscore his projection of 22.6 FPTS.
Joe Burrow has been outperforming his weekly projection just about every single week. The losing Super Bowl QB is not having that much of a down year as most usually do. Tee Higgins should be a lot closer to full health and the offense should continue to do big things. The Atlanta Falcons are quite friendly to opposing offenses and I do not see that changing this weekend. I predict that he will easily get over 282.5 passing yards and over 22 completions.
Josh Jacobs
I predict that Josh Jacobs will outscore his projection of 17.4 FPTS.
Josh Jacobs is smashing his ADP this season. The Raiders are finally utilizing him in the way they should have from the beginning. Now he is going to be facing the putrid Houston Texans’ run defense. Plus, the Raiders should be up in this one, which means more carries for Jacobs. I predict that he will rush for over 80 yards, have a TD, and have at LEAST 3 catches for 20 or more yards.
Amon-Ra St. Brown
I predict that Amon-Ra St. Brown will outscore his projection of 14.7 FPTS.
The Lion’s week 6 bye allowed Amon-Ra St. Brown to rest up and continue to recover from his minor injury. Now he should be back and ready to go. The Lions are the highest-scoring team in the NFL and it could be another wild and high-scoring shootout between them and the Cowboys. Cowboys cornerbacks haven’t been as locked down as they were last year either. I predict a TD for ASRB, so you certainly have to start him.
Gerald Everett
I predict that Gerald Everett will outscore his projection of 10.1 FPTS.
The Seahawks’ defense has not been very good this season and I think that Gerald Everett could be very sneaky and expose them. They give up some of the most points to the opposing TE position. Plus, Keenan Allen still may sit out to continue and nurse his hamstring injury. Start Everett, as I predict five or more catches for over 50 yards.
