Howdy, y’all! Christopher Pinto here of BellyUpFantasy. With the NFL Draft set to take place at the end of the month, I could not think of a better way than to make my debut than by sharing my pre-draft top 12 rankings list at each position for re-draft PPR leagues. During this series, I will give stats and my own personal rankings for each position. Following up the running backs are the high flying wide-outs. Wide receivers are one step away from a home run ball.
For my fantasy teams, the wide receiver position has always been fun to try to predict. These guys are speedsters, titans, and acrobats. Wide receivers have evolved over the past five seasons and there are a lot of ways to rank your guys. I’ve used film, stats, and my gut to bring you my RE-Draft Top 12 Rankings List: Wide Receiver Edition.
12) D.J. Moore – Carolina Panthers
D.J. Moore kicks off my top 12 rankings. The 5’11” 215lb former Maryland wide receiver averaged 61.7 snaps per game and finished as a top 20 wide-out in terms of points scored; 230.5 total. His stat line is 87/1,175/4. Because of this, he will be in the mix as discussion heats up about the top 10. Moore gets a more experienced quarterback and a healthy CMC this season.
In summary, Moore makes my top 12 rankings list and due to his situation, he should be a WR1 by the end of the season.
11) JuJu Smith-Schuster – Pittsburgh Steelers
JuJu makes my top 12 rankings at number eleven. The 6’1″ 215lb former USC star averaged 48.3 snaps per game and didn’t finish in the top 50 in terms of points scored; 113.2 total. His stat line is 42/552/3. Smith-Schuster lost his veteran quarterback last season and was catching passes from relatively unknown. He was drafted by some at the end of the first round and it never panned out.
JuJu looks to bounce back with Big Ben and have a Pro-Bowl season. In conclusion, JuJu Smith-Schuster makes my top 12 rankings list, and due to his situation, he will be a solid WR1.
10) Odell Beckham Jr. – Cleveland Browns
Odell Beckham Jr. makes my top 12 rankings at the tenth spot. The 5’11” 198lb former LSU Tiger averaged 63.6 snaps per game and finished in the top 25 of wide receivers in terms of points scored; 201.3 total. His stat line is 74/1,035/4. OBJ played through pain and injury last season but is said to be rehabbing very well. He is even on track to be ahead of schedule.
Another season under the belt of his quarterback and Beckham Jr. will once again be in the top 10 discussion. In conclusion, Beckham Jr. makes my top 12 rankings list, and due to his situation, he will finish the year as a WR1.
9) Chris Godwin – Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Godwin makes my top 12 rankings at the ninth spot. The 6’1″ 209lb former Nittany Lion averaged 68.4 snaps per game and had a remarkable finish, placing second among wide receivers in terms of points scored; 276.1 total. Godwin’s stat line is 86/1,333/9. Chris Godwin gets the G.O.A.T. Tom Brady, an efficient passer, and that could spell a downturn in snaps for Godwin. In conclusion, Godwin looks to build off of an amazing season. Because of this, Godwin makes my top 12 rankings list and will be a sound WR1.
8) Amari Cooper – Dallas Cowboys
Amari Cooper makes my top 12 rankings at the eighth spot. The 6’1″ 210lb former Bama All-American averaged 53.1 snaps per game and made the top 10 of wide receivers in terms of points scored; 246.5 total. Cooper’s stat line is 79/1,189/8. After an up and down season, Amari Cooper and the gang look to have a much more stable year. Because of this, Cooper will repeat as a top 10 guy. Overall, Cooper makes my top 12 rankings list, and due to his situation, he will be a WR1.
7) Kenny Golladay – Detroit Lions
Golladay makes my top 12 rankings solidly at the seventh spot. The 6’4″ 214lb former Northern Illinois pass-catcher averaged 59.9 snaps per game and above all with wide receivers finished number nine overall in terms of points scored; 248 total. His stat line is 65/1,190/11. Golladay, like some, played without his Pro Bowl quarterback last season, but still managed to put up points.
In summary, Kenny G. looks to have a monster year and makes my top 12 rankings list. Due to his situation, he will be a top-end WR1.
6) Mike Evans – Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Evans makes my top 12 rankings and sits in the sixth spot. The 6’5″ 225lb former Fightin’ Texas Aggie averaged 62.3 per game and finished among wide-outs number 15 overall in terms of points scored; 232.7 total. His stat line is 67/1,157/8. Evans loses a gunslinger quarterback, yet gains the G.O.A.T. Because of Evans’s talent, build, and speed, he clearly makes my top 12 rankings list. In closing, Evans looks to have a phenomenal year due to some big changes; he will finish as a top-end WR1.
5) Davante Adams – Green Bay Packers
Davante Adams makes my top 12 rankings and snags the fifth spot. The 6’1″ 215lb former Fresno State play-maker averaged 57.8 snaps per game and finished as the 22nd best wide-out in terms of points scored; 212.7 total. His stat line is 83/997/5. Adams was injured for the beginning of the 2019 season, yet still managed to almost break the 1,000-yard mark.
Therefore, being fully healthy and ready to rock, Davante Adams makes my top 12 rankings list. Due to his situation, he will be a top-end WR1.
4) Tyreek Hill – Kansas City Chiefs
Tyreek Hill makes my top 12 rankings and slides into the fourth spot. The 5’10” 185lb former West Alabama speedster averaged 47.3 snaps per game and finished in the top 35 in terms of points scored; 188.3 total. The Cheetah’s stat line is 58/860/7. Hill had a nasty injury to start the 2019 season, but came back strong.
He will look to bounce back and complete the 2020 season on top. Because of this, he makes my top 12 rankings list. Due to the sheer speed of Tyreek, he will be an elite WR1.
3) DeAndre Hopkins – Arizona Cardinals
DeAndre Hopkins makes my top 12 rankings at number three. The 6’1″ 212lb former Clemson Tiger averaged 66.7 snaps per game and above all finished among wide receivers number five in terms of points scored; 269.5 total. Nuk’s stat line is 104/1,165/7. DHop joins in the brand new air raid offense and should be exciting. Because of this, he makes my top 12 rankings list; and due to his situation, he will be an elite WR1.
2) Michael Thomas – New Orleans Saints
MT makes my top 12 rankings and ranks number two. The 6’3″ 212lb former Ohio State Buckeye pass-catcher averaged 59.9 snaps per game and above all finished among pass-catchers number one in terms of points scored; 374.6 total. His stat line is 149/1,725/9. Thomas had a historic season and looks to keep chugging along.
Even with Drew Brees set to retire soon, and an eventual regression from his monster season, Thomas makes my top 12 rankings. Due to his epic 2019 campaign, I believe he continues the trend, he will be an elite WR1 by season’s end.
1) Julio Jones – Atlanta Falcons
Julio Jones makes my rankings list and scores the number one roster spot. The 6’3″ 220lb former Crimson Tide undefeated National Champion averaged 55.6 snaps per game and above all finished among wide receivers number three in terms of points scored; 274.1 total. Julio’s stat line is 99/1,394/6. Jones is the epitome of consistency, and, because of that, makes my top 12 rankings. In closing, due to the stats and facts, he will be an elite WR1 by season’s end.

Great read … Mr Pinto is very insightful. Can’t wait to utilize his knowledge.
Thank you sir, any questions please feel free to ask! I’m always ready to answer the tough questions.
Love this! Can’t wait to put it to good use and win again 😉
Thanks Courtney! That stings knowing y’all will know what’s going on in my mind. And it will also hurt knowing that Josh Jacobs most likely won’t be on my roster this year 😭😭😭.
I like this list a lot but what about Brandon Cooks? I think he’s going to have a big year
Thanks! I am big fan of Cooks, he is a big play waiting to happen. As I am a Texans fan, I wanted to rank him in my top 12, but until I see him in the offense I couldn’t rank him as a WR1.
What about Will Fuller V?!?!
WillFuller5 out of Notre Dame! You know he is my ride or die WR2. If he can stay healthy he has shown high end WR1 numbers and will be Watson’s go to on the home run ball.
Dude, great insight! This article is getting me pumped up even more for football season!! So many changes. I cannot wait to see how it all unfolds!
Thanks Ashley! Right, me too, with the draft coming up everything can change! I’m so ready for the season hopefully everything works out and it’ll be here in no time. Plus we have to have that Aggie football!
Thanks Ashley! I can’t wait for the season to start as well, hopefully everything goes accordingly. Also with the draft coming up anything can change, additional we need Aggie Football back!!!
Awesome to see a mix of old and new. Thanks for the read! Def a lot to reflect on before Draft Day.
Thanks Lauren! Right, so much has changed with the landscape of Wide Receivers it’s crazy. I can’t wait for draft day!
I wish the Texans had a top 10 receiver… Oh wait 😔
Gio, thanks for the read and comment! Please don’t remind me about the Texans WR saga, good news is things may be coming around and with a ton of cap space we could make some
good moves during the draft.
Awesome! Great to see a mix of old and new, and def a lot of good info to reflect on. Pumped for Draft Day!
I like Keenan Allen to have a bounce back year and showing some love to Courtland Sutton for top 15 PPR campaign!
Nice list Pinto, way to spill the beans.
Thanks Mike! I know y’all are in my head now hahaha. I’ll have wait and see about the QB situation in LA. Lynn is bullish on Ty-God, but we will see what they do at the draft. As far as Sutton goes I feel like he may not be the number 1 come August. Thanks again for the read and comments!
Great read and great supporting stats! Will definitely be using you as a resource for next year’s FF season!
