Betting, Fantasy NASCAR

Toyota 500 Driver Odds

Alright, Sunday’s first race back was a good showing for the sport and the betting world together. So, let’s turn this thing right back around and do it again this evening. I am going to go over my three tiers of drivers again but do it a little differently this time. I want to give you at least two drivers to stay away from and maybe two alternative options. Especially after seeing the shocking surprises we had in and out of the top ten this past Sunday. So let’s wave the green flag on this Toyota 500 driver options article!

Toyota 500 Big Money

Jimmie Johnson and Kevin Harvick
Kevin Harvick ($11,600)

After leading eighty-one laps en route too Sunday victory I believe Kevin is almost the obvious choice here. His team seemed to just come off the trailer with speed. I mean the man didn’t finish outside of the top five at the end of both stage breaks, not to mention I lost count of how many times his pit crew gained him three to four spots on pit road. Las Vegas has him at 9-2 for this evenings race which aligns perfectly with his significantly high draft kings salary.

Jimmie Johnson ($9,100)

So, seven times race Sunday was probably the hardest to watch. I mean the man was en route to a stage one win when he came off a turn and got into the seventeen car ending his day. Jimmies car looked extremely fast off the trailer Sunday, and he was battling for the lead or leading most of stage one. While his vegas odds (18-1) are a little low in my opinion in comparison with his salary. I think Johnson is a solid option for tonight’s race. He’s bound to have a good race I mean he has won here three times in the past.

Your Middle Class Options

Erik Jones
Erik Jones ($8,500)

Personally let’s get this out of the way this man at this price is a steal. Erik in four career starts at Darlington is yet to finish outside of the top ten and even has one win in last year’s Southern 500. Honestly, I feel like him and Jimmie should swap salary options and that would make more sense. However, I don’t make these prices so I guess I don’t have much say so in them. Vegas has the driver of the JGR number twenty at 20-1 odds, I think he’s a solid choice to at least keep your bet secure tonight during the Toyota 500.

Matt Kenseth ($7,600)
Toyota 400 Matt Kenseth

Are you freaking kidding me? This man took a year off from racing comes back to one of the toughest tracks and at 48 years old grabs a top ten. Matt’s DFS salary is right on par with his Vegas odds(30-1) but I believe that Matt is more of a solid option tonight than Sunday after seeing what he was able to do in that car. Keep an eye on the wild old veteran in tonight’s Toyota 500.

Low End Options

Matt DiBenedetto ($7,000)

Yeah I know two Matt’s in a row. However, I do believe Matty D is a solid low-end option. However, you could change around some of the higher options and swing another driver in this spot. Matt had a 14th place finish Sunday but showed good speed he fell off a little early after starting up front. The Wood Brothers driver is sitting at 60-1 in Vegas. So make sure you take that into consideration.

John Hunter Nemechek ($6,200)
toyota 500

This was one of the shocking surprises of Sunday’s race. The young rookie brought home a ninth-place finish. His ninth-place finish was the first top ten finish for his team in almost three years on a non-super speedway. I guess his solid performance is being slated as a fluke though in Vegas because they have his odds for tonight race at 300-1. At his salary choice, however, though John Hunter has the potential to show out again tonight if the car is set up good enough.

Pick Em Or Social Distance

Toyota 500 Drivers

A few drivers I am somewhat high on going into tonight’s race. The first of those being rookie Tyler Reddick. With a salary of $7,700 and Vegas odds at 50-1 with a little moving around he is a solid pickup. He started 29th and drove all the way to an 8th place finish in stage one. He did that again to end the race with a seventh-place finish. Another driver to look into is Alex Bowman after starting second he was able to lead thirty-six laps and finish exactly where he started. Plus it helps to see how fast the Chevrolet camp was overall Sunday.

Listen, Kyle Busch is sitting at 6-1 odds and is the highest priced driver rolling into tonight’s race at a whopping $12,000. This man went to the back to start the race and never recovered he didn’t even finish in the top ten in either stage and wrapped the race up finishing 26th overall. He could recover but I fill like its a risk. Honestly, any of these drivers could greatly screw you up with this no practice or qualifying format I think with Kyle starting from the back though he is the biggest risk

Let’s Wrap This Up

They have already moved up the green flag time once and could potentially move it up again. However lets hope mother nature has some pity on us NASCAR fans. I mean we as of right now are the only live sport going on so come on lets get some racing in tonight. However if we don’t get in tonight hopefully we’ll be able to re schedule again because Sundays race was an awesome event.
