Week 1 TE Pivots

Week 1 is looking crazy for TEs. The top 5 drafted ones are Travis Kelce, Mark Andrews, T.J. Hockenson, George Kittle, and Darren Waller. It’s looking very possible for 4 of these to miss game 1. Based on Yahoo roster percentages, there are many good alternatives. Who are some good week 1 TE pivots?

Tyler Higbee: 12% Available

It’s unlikely he’s available, but if he is, he could be Stafford’s top target with a solid floor and a high ceiling.

Gerald Everett: 57% available

He’s my top realistic pivot. We’ve seen Kellen Moore use the TE often and we know Herbert can air it out, especially if they need to keep up with that Miami offence.

Jake Ferguson: 66% available

He’s a good pivot if you’d rather wait until there’s conclusive news on Darren Waller. The others play before the Giants vs. Cowboys game.

Luke Musgrave: 83% available

With Christian Watson out and Romeo Doubs possibly out too, he could be heavily relied upon. However, he is risky since both he and his QB are unproven.

Isaiah Likely: 97% available

This is mainly a Mark Andrews pivot. If Andrews plays, I wouldn’t start Likely, but we’ve seen him be very capable as a Mark Andrews handcuff.

Wrap-Up

It sucks if the TE you drafted early can’t be started right away, but you don’t need to panic. Hopefully one of these week 1 TE pivots can help you out.
