Sit back and relax because all the Week 9 updates are here for your convenience.

NFC North

Chicago Bears – Jimmy Graham listed as questionable, but the full expectation is for him to go. Javon Wims is suspended for the altercation from last week’s games, so expect to see more Darnell Mooney in this one.

Minnesota Vikings- Dalvin Cook seems to be fully recovered from that groin injury and every other fantasy player seems ready to go this weekend.

Detriot Lions- Matthew Stafford(Covid-19) Chase Daniel will step in for him, but wouldn’t think about playing him unless in a SF or absolutely desperate. Kenny Golladay(hip) is doubtful and T.J. Hockenson(toe) I expect to suit up.

Green Bay Packers- Aaron Jones is questionable tonight with his ongoing calf injury. My expectation is that he doesn’t suit up tonight. Dexter Williams is an RB4 desperation play at this point. GB WR Allen Lazard can come off of IR at any moment and there is a little optimism that he could go as he did travel with the team.

NFC East

New York Giants- Devonta Freeman did return to practice on Thursday and my expectation is that he tries to give it a go against the Washington Football Team. Wayne Gallman would be the next man up as he kind of showed out against Tampa Bay in the last contest.

Dallas Cowboys- Andy Dalton(Covid-19). My expectation in that Garrett Gilbert gets the start, but like with Stafford/Daniel’s situation is only a desperation play.

Washington Football Team- All fantasy relevant players healthy.

Philadelphia Eagles- Dallas Goedert and Jalen Reagor both returned to last week’s game. Richard Rodgers can be relegated to the waivers and if Goedert is out there still and you need a TE don’t hesitate to grab him. They are on a bye this week, but we totally expect Miles Sanders to return in the next game as well.

NFC South

New Orleans Saints- Michael Thomas practiced again on Wednesday. We shall see his status clear up and see if he logs any more practice time this week. New Orleans really could use him this week in their rivalry game against Tampa Bay. Emmanuel Sanders also logged a practice after his positive test two weeks ago. If for some reason MT cant go this weekend. Start Sanders, as a nice WR2.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers- Chris Godwin underwent minor surgery for a broken finger and we may not know his status until closer to game-time, but I imagine they go with the side of caution and use Antonio Brown in his role this week.

Carolina Panthers- Christian McCaffrey is expected to make his big mid-season comeback against The Chiefs. Mike Davis is now relegated to a handcuff again. Teddy Bridgewater should be good to go after the scary collision last week.

Atlanta Falcons- Calvin Ridley(ankle). His status is not trending in the right direction to play this week. Russell Gage could be a decent start, but he has also been dealing with a knee issue.

NFC West

Seattle Seahawks- That backfield is totally up in the air at this point. DeeJay Dallas looked great in his role last week. It surely sounds like Chris Carson will maybe be a 50-50 decision again, but I am thinking they exercise caution and role Dallas out there as their featured back. Now might also be the time to stash Rashaad Penny if you have an IR spot or are in a deeper league.

Arizona Cardinals- Kenyan Drake(ankle) is still not back at practice. I look for Chase Edmonds to really start pulling away in Drake’s absence.

LA Rams- They are on Bye this week, so we’ll check back on them next week.

San Francisco 49ers- George Kittle(foot), Jimmy Garappolo(high ankle sprain) While it is expected both could miss the rest of the regular season. San Francisco has at least left the door open for a Kittle return. They are activating Jordan Reed back from IR for Thursday’s game as well. Raheem Mostert remains on IR, Tevin Coleman made a brief appearance in the last game but went right back on the shelf. This leaves Jerick McKinnon and JayMycal Hasty as the sole 1-2 punch against a weak Green Bay defense. Deebo Samuel (hamstring) and Brandon Aiyuk (Covid-19) are also both out. Trent Taylor could be a decent streamer option but I wouldn’t count on it.

AFC North

Baltimore Ravens- Mark Ingram(high ankle sprain) I think there is a 20 percent chance to play this week. J.K. Dobbins and Gus Edwards are the 1-2 punch here and they both did surprisingly well against a stout Pittsburgh defense last week and face a similar type of tough defense in this contest against a top-end Colts Defense.

Pittsburgh Steelers- All fantasy relevant players healthy.

Cleveland Browns- On bye week this week we’ll check next week on those status’s.

Cincinnati Bengals- On bye week this week we’ll check next week on those status’s.

AFC East

New York Jets- Sam Darnold (shoulder) should be good to go. Jamison Crowder(groin) needs to log a practice for me to feel confident starting him for Monday.

Miami Dolphins- Myles Gaskin (knee) was placed on IR this week. the expectation is that Matt Breida (hamstring) takes over this backfield in his absence. If Breida can’t go it is the Jordan Howard show.

New England Patriots- Julian Edelman(knee) was moved to IR last week. N’Keal Harry(Concussion) not at practice this week. I would expect Harry not to suit up, but Jakobi Meyers just might see enough volume to be a nice streamer option this week.

Buffalo Bills- John Brown(knee) did return to practice Thursday. he should be good to go.

AFC South

Indianapolis Colts- Jonathan Taylor(ankle) should be a go this week. T.Y. Hilton could be a game-time decision.

Tennessee Titans- A.J. Brown seems like they are just letting him get the rest this week and I fully expect him to go. Adam Humphries(concussion) is not looking too good this week.

Houston Texans- Randall Cobb(Illness) I fully expect him to be ready against Jacksonville.

Jacksonville Jaguars- Gardner Minshew(thumb) is out this week. Jake Luton is expected to get the start.

AFC West

Kansas City Chiefs- Sammy Watkins did practice in a limited fashion Wednesday. Demarcus Robinson seems to be getting the looks in his absence so keep an eye on him if in a desperation play.

Denver Broncos- Phillip Lindsay(foot) will most likely be a game-time decision for his game. Tim Patrick (hamstring) is most likely also a game-time decision as well.

Las Vegas Raiders- All fantasy relevant players healthy.

LA Chargers- All fantasy-relevant players are healthy. We are probably still 3-4 weeks away from an Austin Ekeler return.
