Week 9 QB Streamer

Tua Tagovailoa One Quick Thought

Here’s my Week 9 QB streamer article. If you want a recap of the idea behind QB streamers, you can check out my first article here. Last week, my Week 8 QB streamer was Carson Wentz who put up an impressive 20.34 fantasy points.

As an update on my track record so far, my streamer QBs have averaged 19.9325 fantasy points for a total of 159.46 fantasy points, which would put them ahead of Aaron Rodgers. Let’s see who my QB streamer is this week.

Tua Tagovailoa

I didn’t recommend him this past week against the Bills defence, but Tua Tagovailoa should be a solid streamer this week. Against a porous Houston Texans defence, who should hopefully be more competitive if Tyrod Taylor comes back, this matchup should work out well for the Dolphins quarterback.

His receiving weapons have proven to be great targets and Will Fuller could also return this week. The team as a whole hasn’t looked great, but it hasn’t stopped him from being a solid fantasy QBs in most of his healthy starts this season so far.

BONUS

With the Jameis Winston injury, if Taysom Hill gets healthy and starts behind centre for the Saints this week, he is definitely a streamer to look at. He may even be someone you can lock into your lineups. As a true dual-threat quarterback, he is definitely someone to target as more than a streamer if you need a QB.

Wrap-Up

Maybe you drafted a QB later and are worried about your QB’s matchup this week. In that case, Tua could be a player to look at for a Week 9 QB streamer option. If you drafted a good starting QB, I probably wouldn’t bench him for Tua, but the Miami QB has the potential to be a solid fill-in.
