And then there were none. After the Washington Commanders stood victorious over the Philadelphia Eagles on Monday night, the NFL will have no more undefeated teams. The 1972 Dolphins can take a sigh of relief, knowing they’re still the only team with a perfect season. Too bad fantasy football didn’t exist back then.
Speaking about fantasy football, do you know what the worst feeling is? Losing by less than a fantasy point. Heading into Monday night, my team was only up by four points and my opponent had Miles Sanders.
At first, things seemed like they were going my way. The Eagles running back only had nine yards rushing entering halftime. But, some quality carries in the second half gave my opponent the lead and the win. The margin: 0.6 points.
‘sigh’. Well, at least my New York Giants won. But, that’s for another day. I know what you all are here for: week ten’s fantasy studs and duds. Let’s praise those who won us another matchup, and call out those who made us look like fools starting them.
The NFC North Led The Way
If you want a quick summary to describe this week in fantasy, let’s just say the NFC North has some special playmakers. Three of the four top fantasy scorers were in this division, led by quarterback Justin Fields of the Chicago Bears.
Once again, the former Ohio State product continues to cement his status as a must-start fantasy option every week. Sunday against the Lions marked his third straight game with multiple passing touchdowns.
1. Justin Fields' first 4 games:

34-of-67
471 yards
2 TDs
4 INTs
58.7 passer rating
Last 6 games:
88-of-141
1,018 yards
10 TDs
3 INTs
99.6 passer rating
But sure. Tell me again how his passing ability hasn't evolved. #Bears pic.twitter.com/ZC3RoCypYh
Fields also impacted the ground attack, rushing for 147 yards and another two touchdowns. This player cannot be stopped and has improved dramatically compared to his rookie season.
The quarterback is also the first player in NFL history to rush for multiple touchdowns of at least 60+ yards. Move over Lamar Jackson, there’s a new dual-threat quarterback in time. Standing alone as the highest-scoring fantasy quarterback in the NFL, those who picked him up off waivers should start sending thank-you letters to him. A QB1 off the waiver wire this late into the season? Bless him.
Now, how about Vikings wide receiver Justin Jefferson? The wideout finished with 193 receiving yards on ten catches, including this outstanding grab.

I mean, what an athlete. From a fantasy standpoint, he is turning into a different beast. Jefferson finished with a second straight game of at least 100 receiving yards, totaling six on the year. It helps Kirk Cousins is targeting him any chance he gets, as the receiver continues to get peppered in the double-digits.
35.3 fantasy PPR points? It’s clear he’s an issue for both defenses and fantasy owners who have to face him.
Finally, Packers rookie receiver Christian Watson finally broke out. After dealing with injuries and lackluster efforts to start the year, the wideout finished with three touchdowns on just four receptions.

With the Packers receiving corps underwhelming as it is, someone had to step up and be a dependable target for Aaron Rodgers. It may have been just one game, but Watson is showing signs of being the #1 receiver for Rodgers for years to come.
No More In The Kupp
Cooper Kupp was supposed to carry our fantasy teams again this season. Even with the loss of his offensive coordinator Kevin O’Connell to Minnesota, quarterback Matthew Stafford continued to pepper his favorite receiver with targets.
Kupp has finished with at least 22 fantasy points this season in all but two contests. But, in those two contests, he still had at least 16 fantasy points. Outstanding.
So, even with Stafford out, you would expect backup QB John Wolford to depend on Kupp to lead the offense.

Nothing changed in the second half, as Kupp exited the game with an ankle injury. Heartbreak spread over fantasy owners across the nation, and it’s confirmed he will miss time with a high ankle sprain.
Further exams showed there is ligament damage, and now the Rams along with many fantasy owners will have to find another wide receiver to replace Kupp’s production. Time to hit the waiver wire, ladies and gentlemen. I wish you well, and please pray for me: I have him on my team too.
