Week 3 has just finished, and we will look back at the best and worst WR Fantasy Football performances of the week. Take note that we are using Sleeper’s PPR scoring system for this analysis.
Golden DAWG: Mack Hollins 29.96 FP
8 Receptions, 158 Receiving Yards, 1 Receiving TD, 4 Passing Yards (Projected: 7.87 FP)
Mack Hollins surprised everyone with a big day for the Raiders. He led all receivers with eight catches and 158 yards with a TD. His performance was helped by Hunter Renfrow being out for the game. His performance has been steadily improving and could be another weapon for this struggling team.
Silver DAWG: DeVonta Smith 30.90 FP
8 Receptions, 169 Receiving Yards, 1 Receiving TD (Projected: 11.75 FP)
DeVonta Smith played the best game of his young career against the Commanders with eight receptions for 169 yards and a TD. He has bounced back after posting zero points in Week 1. If he can continue to be a steady presence, the Eagles will be one of the favorites in the NFC.
Bronze DAWG: Zay Jones 24.50 FP
10 Receptions, 85 Receiving Yards, 1 Receiving TD (Projected: 8.04 FP)
Zay Jones was a big contributor in the Jags’ upset win over the Chargers 38-10. Trevor Lawrence targeted him the most, and he balled out with 10 receptions and 85 yards, and a TD. He looks like the WR2 for the Jags currently. Watch out for more big performances, especially if the Jaguars continue to win.
Golden FRAUD: Justin Jefferson 4.40 FP
3 Receptions, 14 Receiving Yards (Projected: 22.98 FP)
The Detroit Lions did a good job in stopping Justin Jefferson in their Week 3 matchup. Jeff Okudah played lights out and gave Jefferson a hard time. This is the second straight week for a subpar game for Justin, but he continues to be a must-start player in fantasy.
Silver FRAUD: Tyreek Hill 5.30 FP
2 Receptions, 33 Receiving Yards (Projected: 18.70 FP)
Miami only had possession of the ball for under 20 minutes, which could be seen in the offensive numbers. The team as a whole had 13 receptions. Tyreek Hill caught two passes for 33 yards. This game is an outlier, and you can continue to trust Tyreek as an elite WR in fantasy football.
Bronze FRAUD: D.J. Moore 2.50 FP
1 Reception, 2 Receiving Yards, 2 Carries, 13 Rushing Yards (Projected: 12.05 FP)
D.J. Moore led the Panthers with six targets but only caught one for two yards. Baker Mayfield has not created a connection with him yet. As long as Baker is struggling, it will be tough to trust D.J. Moore as a reliable receiver.
