Draft needs:

This offseason has been an extremely good one for the Titans organization. Because of how their 2019 campaign ended, they had to think quickly at the quarterback and running back positions. They have quietly added depth on their roster and made some key moves to tell us how 2020 will be run. The Titans needs lay on the defensive side of the ball. Because the organization made a stand with Tannehill and Henry along with adding to the O-line. In summation, the Titans need a cornerback, edge rusher and a new quarterback. Lastly, they need to sure up their veteran defense with a big shut down corner. For instance, here are some noteworthy players the Titans may target:

  • Kristian Fulton, CB, LSU
  • Trevon Diggs, CB, Alabama
  • Jeff Gladney, CB, TCU
  • Jordan Love, QB, Utah State
  • Jacob Eason, QB, Washington
  • Jake Fromm, QB, Georgia
  • Julian Okwara, Edge, Notre Dame
  • Jonathan Greenard, Edge, Florida
  • Darrell Taylor, Edge, Tennessee

Fantasy Implications:

The fantasy landscape for the Titans is not deep. Ryan Tannehill, Derrick Henry, and A.J. Brown are the only guys you could plug into your roster. First, the Titans have one the highest volume rushing attacks in the game and they added depth this off-season. Second, they signed defensive players and addressed key missing spots. In summary, the Titans will run the ball this season and look to take a step up in their passing game.

Quarterback:

Ryan Tannehill got the contract he was looking for and will thank not only the organization but fantasy managers who wait on him this year. He will continue to hand the ball to Henry but also looks to find A.J. Brown in the passing game more this season. Tannehill will be a good weekly play and due to his situation be labeled a QB 2 with upside.

Running Back:

Derrick Henry got the tag this offseason while holding many NFL season records. He blew down the doors of managers who took him as value and looks to be a first-round target. Henry will get the volume again and looks to be a top-end RB 1.

Wide Reciever:

A.J. Brown, stormed the field last season and looks to build off of it. He has a connection with quarterback Ryan Tannehill and together could make Brown a top-end play. In summary, look for Brown to be a WR 2 with upside.

Conclusion:

In conclusion, the Titans sit close to the top of the AFC South and have few fantasy weapons. The likes of Tannehill, Henry, and Brown will be owned in most leagues and you will be able to start them up on a weekly bases. Next, the Titans running game will be money in the bank as one of the highest in volume this season. Lastly, if the organization moves to bring in a new Wide Receiver or Tight End snatch them up.
