Week 3 has just finished, and we will look back at the best and worst QB Fantasy Football performances of the week. Take note that we are using Sleeper’s PPR scoring system for this analysis.
Golden DAWG: Lamar Jackson 40.42 FP
218 Passing Yards, 4 Passing TDs, 1 Interception, 11 Carries, 107 Rushing Yards, 1 Rushing TD (Projected: 23.29 FP)
Lamar Jackson has continued his impressive season with a road win against the Patriots. He threw for 218 passing yards with four TDs and had 11 carries for 107 rushing yards and a TD. He has looked like the most impressive QB this season and should be the front-runner for MVP. Lamar is the top-ranked QB in fantasy football, also.
Silver DAWG: Trevor Lawrence 25.18 FP
262 Passing Yards, 3 Passing TDs, 3 Carries, 7 Rushing Yards, 1 2-Pt Conversion (Projected: 15.77 FP)
Trevor Lawrence is looking better and better each passing week. He led the Jaguars to an impressive upset victory over the Chargers 38-10. Lawrence threw for 262 passing yards and three TDs. No one had the Jaguars beating the Colts and Chargers in back-to-back weeks before the season started. The Jaguars look like the team to beat in the AFC South.
Bronze DAWG: Jacoby Brissett 17.90 FP
220 Passing Yards, 2 Passing TDs, 3 Carries, 11 Rushing Yards (Projected: 12.91 FP)
Jacoby Brissett looked very comfortable in the Browns’ win over the Steelers. He often found his two favorite targets in Amari Cooper and David Njoku, who scored TDs. He is playing better than expected and hopes for another win against the Falcons in Week 4.
Golden FRAUD: Justin Fields 6.94 FP
106 Passing Yards, 2 Interceptions, 8 Carries, 47 Rushing Yards (Projected: 18.96 FP)
Justin Fields didn’t have a good game passing when he threw for just 106 yards with two interceptions. The Bears had a good ground game, so they relied on that more. Fields is a tough QB to trust in fantasy football, but they have a winning record, so they’ll probably continue with the same scheme.
Silver FRAUD: Russell Wilson 9.06 FP
184 Passing Yards, 6 Carries, 17 Rushing Yards (Projected: 20.23 FP)
Russell Wilson led the Broncos to an ugly win over the 49ers. He threw for 184 passing yards and ran for 17 yards. A positive from the game was that Russell Wilson looked like his old self in the final drive. He was moving around and making great throws which led to a Melvin Gordon TD. They have a big matchup against the Raiders in Week 4.
Bronze FRAUD: Justin Herbert 13.58 FP
297 Passing Yards, 1 Passing TD, 1 Interception, 1 Carry, 7 Rushing Yards, 1 Fumble Lost (Projected: 24.69 FP)
Justin Herbert played through a rib injury in their loss against the Jaguars. He completed 25 of 45 passes for 297 yards and a TD. He didn’t look 100 percent and the Chargers are grateful Herbert didn’t get hurt during the matchup. Hopefully, he recovers before the game against the Texans in Week 4.
