Introduction:
Lead Fantasy Analyst and Writer for BellyUpSports, Christopher Pinto, brings you an exclusive interview with Tyler Riggs new ERSCA driver for BellyUpFantasy. Tonight BellyUpFantasy will be partnering with ERSCA driver and Co-Owner of @WeArePRM Tyler Riggs in the 4th ERSCA start of his career. Christopher Pinto got to sit down and interview our new driver. Tyler is a veteran racer that has about 500 starts across all platforms and is breaking into the ERSCA scene. Read as the two talk racing and a little fantasy football.
Tyler Riggs is a 24-year-old Oklahoma based racing phenomenon, whose first iRacing win came at Talladega Speedway. Tyler made some bold moves and went four wide which lead him to take first during the last lap and maintaining it for the win. Racing since 2015 on the iRacing platform and dawning a PS4 controller Tyler quickly found his knack for it. During these console days, Tyler along with Joshua Personette created @WeArePRM and began to grow their team. A team that now includes the likes of Caleb Thompson, Gerald Campbell, Logan Shea, and Kendall Noah Player along with many others. These guys have been making a name for themselves and are now breaking on to the ERSCA scene.
BellyUpFantasy was given the opportunity to partner and we jumped on it. Being a very new fan of the sport talking to Tyler about the race tonight was awesome. He was explaining the cars, course, ins and outs of when to shift and when to break. I can’t wait to see him race tonight at the Charlotte Roval. The Roval as it’s known in the racing community will have some modifications that will keep fans and drivers on the edge of their seats. Tyler is putting in the work only being his fourth career start on the ERSCA platform averaging 3.5 hours a day and upgrading to a new wheel and peddle system.
Fantasy Football:
Tyler is not only a driver but an avid Fantasy Football manager who started in the 4th grade or 5th grade playing for pizza against seven of his friends. He has since branched out to many different formats and some custom scoring systems as well. His personal favorite fantasy players have been Hopkins, Peyton Manning, Johnny Hekker, and Derrick Henry. Tyler and I discussed many different topics and aspects of the fantasy football world, the last topic I wanted to highlight as it was Tyler’s dream team for the 2020 season.
