The WR rankings of 70-61 is full of players who are second or third-string along with a couple of WR1 for their respective teams. This ranking is made up of players who are on the decline for fantasy and some up and coming studs. The common theme for these players seems to be an unfortunate QB situation or a run-first offense that limits fantasy production. The values of these players can change at any time throughout the year, but as of right now this is the list I would follow for dynasty leagues.

70. Tyrell Williams

Tyrell Williams had a sub-par season in 2019. Williams has never shown that he can be a team’s number one option. Williams had 42 catches for 651 yards in 2019, which is disappointing as he is supposed to be the team’s number one option. Two things will change this offseason for Williams: 1) Tom Brady signs with the Raiders or 2) The Raiders draft Jerry Jeudy or CeeDee Lamb. Yes, Brady will ultimately help him but only if the Raiders don’t look to move on from him in the draft. Williams still can stretch the field, but monitor his offseason closely when considering him for your dynasty drafts.

69. Jamison Crowder

Crowder had a great start in PPR leagues in 2019 as he started the season off with 14 catches on 17 targets. Crowder and Darnold found a connection with each other right away. After Sam Darnold went down with mono, Crowder struggled to find his groove. Crowder will be 27 this summer and still has two years remaining on his contract. Another offseason will help Darnold figure out the offense, while I also pray that Adam Gase will be fired sooner than later. With that being said, Crowder should slide into the slot and become Darnold’s favorite receiver. Crowder is a deep option in dynasty leagues but can be plug and play if he is getting 10 targets a game in PPR formats.

68. James Washington

With the abrupt departure of Antonio Brown, the Steelers needed someone to step up and fill that hole he left. Ben Roethlisberger had a short season after injuring his elbow in Week 2. The Steelers played musical chairs with Devlin Hodges and Mason Rudolph for the rest of the season. Respectfully, I can say both QB were awful. James Washington is elusive and can beat corners down the field but if he has no one that can throw the ball to him, his production is poor.

Washington despite being targeted over 80 times, only had 44 catches. Washington did average 16.7 yards a touch, which is phenomenal. The reason why I have Washington so low is because who will be the QB for the Steelers is still up in the air and I don’t have a feeling they will draft one. Washington can be a value if taken late in dynasty drafts.

67. Auden Tate

Auden Tate started 10 of the 12 games he played in 2019. Tate recorded 40 catches for the Bengals, a team that struggled on both sides of the ball. The Bengals hold the first pick in the 2020 NFL Draft and to no one’s surprise, they will pick Joe Burrow. I do believe Burrow will have a positive impact on all Bengals receivers, including Tate. Tate is only 23 which still gives him plenty of time to grow with Burrow. The Bengals need to spend a lot their picks on offensive linemen so Burrow doesn’t get killed every time he steps back. The Bengals may look to bring in a familiar face for Burrow, such as Justin Jefferson. However, if they don’t go that route, Tate becomes a value at his current ADP and can be a real steal in dynasty leagues.

66. Parris Campbell

Campbell was drafted 59th overall in the 2019 NFL Draft and there were high expectations for him coming into the league. Campbell is an explosive weapon that most teams would love to have. However, Campbell was limited by many injuries in his rookie season. Many believe that Campbell has the best opportunity to break out in 2020. I would agree, and you may wonder why I do have Parris so low in my rankings. I’m just concerned with his QB Jacoby Brissett. Brissett had a very disappointing season and held up the offense at times. My prediction for the Colts is that they bring in Jameis Winston, which would be a big upgrade. Given Campbell a QB that loves to sling it, he is one of my favorite targets for a low price in dynasty leagues.

65. Emmanuel Sanders

Emmanuel Sanders was traded mid-season to the San Francisco 49ers as they were dire need of WR help. He stepped into slot and helped settle the nerves of Jimmy Garoppolo. Sanders’ best game came against the Saints in Week 14 as he had 7 catches for 157 yards. Manny will be a free agent this offseason and as the 49ers will continue to pound the rock, he will look for a team that will involve him more. Sanders is just one year removed from a serious Achilles injury but looked like his true self in 2019. A WR needy team like the Packers or Eagles may be willing to spend some money on him. Sanders will still have fantasy production in 2020 but remember his years in the league are limited. His ADP in dynasty leagues makes him interesting and worth the grab.

64. Allen Lazard

Allen Lazard exceeded projections for his second year in the NFL. The Green Bay product finished with 35/477/3 which is an impressive number for the undrafted rookie. Lazard has built a nice rapport with QB Aaron Rodgers who has praised his work in practice and the two have spent some holidays together. As of right now, I view Lazard as the number two receiver option in GB behind Davantae Adams. The analysts believe that Green Bay will bring in another WR. I would agree, but fantasy lovers of Lazard better hope its a slot/route runner type. Lazard is a late-round dynasty player and owners might get an absolute steal if they pick him.

63. Andy Isabella

The 5’9″ receiver out of UMass impressed many teams at the 2019 Senior Bowl. The Cardinals were welcomed to draft the speedy, but precise route runner in the second round of the 2019 NFL Draft. The Cardinals didn’t use Isabella enough in 2019. About half of Isabella’s production came off of one catch against the 49ners, where he took his only target for an 88 yard TD. Larry Fitzgerald will be back for the Cardinals in 2020. Kliff shouldn’t let that distract him from using Isabella more in their air raid. Isabella is a great pick in dynasty drafts. Only if he can step up and become a starting WR for the Cardinals.

62. Alshon Jeffery

I can already hear the comments, “Alshon is way to low.” “No way John Ross should be above him.” The truth is Alshon already hit his wall. For people who don’t know what this means, Alshon has dealt with injuries his whole career and at the age of 30, his value is only decreasing. Alshon hasn’t played a full season since 2017 and hasn’t gone over 1,000 yards since his Chicago days.

I am not saying Alshon isn’t a talented receiver, but in dynasty leagues, the chance of hitting on a younger player is more probable than taking a player with luggage. The Eagles are not going to move on from Jeffery until at least 2022 and his dead cap situation proves that at $26M. If Alshon falls to the mid-to-late rounds he is worth the risk. However, in my eyes, anything above that is a waste of a pick.

61. John Ross

John Ross is an absolute burner down the field. Ross ran 4.22 40 at the combine and it has carried over to the field. Ross has struggled to stay healthy in this league. Through the first two games of the 2019 season, Ross was on pace to be a top-five fantasy WR. Ross suffered a sternoclavicular injury that was life-threatening. I would never wish an injury like this on a player. However, I would love to see what John Ross can do with a fully healthy season. Joe Burrow will look to find Ross down the field more as he zooms past the entire secondary. Ross has shown that he can be a fantasy producer. He should be considered as a late-round target in your dynasty leagues.
