Today is a thrilling Game 5 matchup where the Boston Celtics will visit the Miami Heat. Let’s highlight my top two bets, along with a same game parlay. Now let’s get into the NBA Best Bets of May 25.
Jaylen Brown over 6.5 Rebounds
-120 Odds on FanDuel
I rode with this same bet in my last article and it was successful. In trusting so again, the over/under for this matchup is set at 204, which is low.
With low-scoring games, comes plenty of rebound opportunities. Jaylen Brown has hit this over five games in a row, including their previous game, as he played less than 30 minutes.
With this expected to be an intense Game 5 matchup, fans should finally get a close game, rather than a one-sided blowout. This would be beneficial since the game would stay within reach and Brown should get plenty of minutes.
All in all, this is expected to be a low-scoring game, where Jaylen Brown will play more minutes, increasing his opportunities for rebounds.
NBA Best Bets: Celtics Over 103.5 Points
-104 Odds on FanDuel
Look, the Celtics just flat out embarrassed the Heat, but this line feels low despite a possible bounce-back Miami Heat game. The Celtics have scored 107, 127, 103, and 102 during this series.
Being just short in the last two games, the Boston Celtics have hit this over both times on the road.
Especially with their last two games, Tatum and Brown failed to align good performances together. In Game 3, Tatum had 10 Points, while in Game 4, Brown had 10 points. I don’t expect either of them to have ice-cold performances in today’s matchup.
To add on, the hope is Marcus Smart will be back in the lineup today, as he has been great during these playoffs.
I could see it being close, but I think this Celtics team can get the over despite win or loss.
Same Game Parlay
+121 Odds on FanDuel
I know this isn’t amazing odds for six legs, but with this being an unpredictable game 5, I thought it would be good to go safer.
First off, Jimmy Butler has had two rough performances in a row, indicating that his injury could be more serious. I’m sure Jimmy Butler will do everything in his power to not have another bad game, although I don’t see him going over this number.
Jayson Tatum has gotten at least 4 rebounds in eight games straight. Also, Bam Adebayo has had at least 6 rebounds in six of their last seven games.
For Tatum to get under 9 assists, really doesn’t need an in-depth analyst for a player averaging 5 assists per game this series.
Also, Tatum to get at least 20 points is a small ask, considering he has hit this in seven of their last eight games.
NBA Best Bets of the Day Recap:
- Jaylen Brown Over 6.5 Rebounds (-120 Odds)
- Celtics Over 103.5 Points (-104 Odds)
- Same Game Parlay (+121 Odds)
