Denver Broncos vs Kansas City Chiefs Fantasy Football and NFL Betting Preview

As we approach Week 6 of the NFL season, there are several intriguing fantasy football match ups and player prop bets worth considering. In this article, we will analyze the game lines, key fantasy match ups, and provide insights on which player props might be worth wagering on. So, let’s dive in and check out our Denver Broncos vs Kansas City Chiefs Fantasy Football and NFL Betting Preview!

Game Line Analysis:

The Kansas City Chiefs (-10.5) are set to face the Denver Broncos, who have struggled against the spread (0-5 ATS). On the other hand, the Chiefs are 3-2 ATS and have covered the spread in their only other 10+ point spread game. Based on these statistics, it appears favorable to take Kansas City minus the points in this match up.

Quarterbacks: Patrick Mahomes and Russell Wilson

1. Patrick Mahomes (Kansas City Chiefs):

Currently ranked as my QB3, Mahomes faces off against the Denver Broncos who have allowed the third-most passing yards this season. Mahomes has surpassed the 272.5 passing yards prop in three out of five games played. Therefore, it seems prudent to take the over on Mahomes’ passing yards prop.

2. Russell Wilson (Denver Broncos):

Despite being ranked as my QB17, Wilson has been consistent in reaching the over on his passing touchdown prop, achieving it in four out of five games this season. Given that the game against the opponent is likely to go into garbage time, Wilson has a good chance of throwing for two touchdowns. Thus, it seems like a reasonable bet to take him going for two passing touchdowns this week.

Running Backs: Isiah Pacheco, Javonte Williams, Samaje Perine, and Jaleel McLaughlin

1. Isiah Pacheco (Kansas City Chiefs):

Ranked as my RB16, Pacheco has exceeded the receiving yards prop in three out of five games played this season. Additionally, the Broncos have allowed the third-most receiving yards to running backs. Considering these factors, it would be wise to take the over on Pacheco’s receiving yards prop.

2. Javonte Williams (Denver Broncos):

While he had a full practice leading into Thursday night, Williams’ player props have not been specified. Therefore, no specific recommendation can be made at this time. He is my RB25 this week so you can plug him in as a high end flex play. He expects to be the starter still despite a recent surge from Jaleel McLaughlin.

3. Samaje Perine (Denver Broncos):

No Props to speak of with this player. His playing time could be volatile with Javonte’s return and McLaughlin’s production. Perine should be considered as worth dropping in redraft leagues.

4. Jaleel McLaughlin (Denver Broncos):

McLaughlin outperformed Perine despite playing only 34% of snaps. There is a possibility that he moves up the depth chart. However, McLaughlin’s role with all backs healthy is yet to be determined, making him more suitable as a stash than an immediate play.

Wide Receivers: Courtland Sutton, Jerry Jeudy, Skyy Moore, and Rashee Rice

1. Courtland Sutton (Denver Broncos):

Sutton, currently ranked as my WR37, has fallen short of the receiving yards prop in his last two games. Additionally, the Kansas City Chiefs allow the 13th least receiving yards to wide receivers. Considering these trends, it would be prudent to be cautious with Sutton’s performance and take the under on his receiving yards prop. Possibly find other options for your starting lineup too.

2. Jerry Jeudy (Denver Broncos):

Ranked as my WR35, Jeudy has fallen short of the receiving yards prop in three out of four games this season. Therefore, it might be wise to take the under on Jeudy’s receiving yards prop until he demonstrates more consistency. As the higher floor targeted WR on Denver he does crack my top 36, but frankly does not represent much upside.

3. Skyy Moore (Kansas City Chiefs):

Moore has been given the opportunities and returned absolutely nothing. He should be dropped in all 12 man leagues or less.

4. Rashee Rice (Kansas City Chiefs):

Rice represents the most potential upside in the wide receiver corps. However, he played only 20 snaps last week, which was fifth in rotation. At this point, it would be wiser to consider Rice as a stash rather than an immediate play.

Tight Ends: Travis Kelce

1. Travis Kelce (Kansas City Chiefs):

Always my TE1, Kelce has been able to practice despite an ankle sprain. With a favorable matchup in a short week, it seems likely that Kelce will play. (Swifties go crazy!)
