Week 11 QB Streamer

Here’s my Week 11 QB streamer article. If you want a recap of the idea behind QB streamers, you can check out my first article here. Last week, my Week 10 QB streamer was Teddy Bridgewater who ended up with a disappointing 9.04 fantasy points. Let’s see who my QB streamer is this week and hope he does better.

Cam Newton

Back with his original team, Cam Newton has the weapons to not only be a good streamer, but he could also be a top 12 QB for the rest of the season. He should be set to put up good passing numbers with great wide receivers in D.J. Moore and Robby Anderson and the ability to dump off to a wide receiver running back hybrid in Christian McCaffrey. Combine that with his ability to run, and he should have a safe floor and a high ceiling. We could see a lot of goal-line carries by this guy.

He is also going to face the surprisingly lowly Washington Football Team defense. The fact that they just lost an elite defender in Chase Young definitely helps make things easier for the veteran quarterback.

Wrap-Up

Maybe you drafted a QB later and are worried about your QB’s matchup this week. In that case, Newton could be a player to look at for a Week 11 QB streamer option. The Panther QB has the potential to be a solid fill-in now and possibly for a few more weeks.
