Here’s my Week 2 QB streamer article. If you want a recap of the idea behind QB streamers, you can check out my first article here. Last week my streamer was Sam Darnold who put up a respectable 19.06 fantasy points, finishing ahead of names like Lamar Jackson, Josh Allen, Justin Herbert, and Aaron Rodgers. Let’s see who my QB streamers are this week.
Teddy Bridgewater
Despite the loss of Jerry Jeudy, I’m expecting Teddy Bridgewater to do quite well this week. He’s got a juicy matchup this week against the Jacksonville Jaguars. We saw Tyrod Taylor light them up this past weekend and I don’t doubt Teddy can do that as well.
We saw him produce respectable fantasy numbers in Carolina and he has good options in Courtland Sutton and Noah Fant in Denver. Along with a good team overall, he has the ability to be a respectable QB in real life and for fantasy.
Last week, he put up 20.46 fantasy points against the New York Giants who have a pretty good defense. I could definitely see him putting up at least 20 fantasy points again against a much worse team. Losing Jerry Jeudy will hurt, but I’d imagine other receivers step up in his place. He also runs occasionally, which can help with his fantasy output. I don’t imagine Drew Lock steals the job back any time soon.
Wrap-Up
Maybe you drafted a QB later and are worried about your QB’s Week 2 matchup. If so, Teddy Bridgewater could be a player to look at for a Week 2 QB streamer option. He should have a good floor and ceiling this week.
