Week 2 has just finished, and we will look back at the best and worst WR Fantasy Football performances of the week. Take note that we are using Sleeper’s PPR scoring system for this analysis.
Golden DAWG: Jaylen Waddle 40.10 FP
11 Receptions, 171 Receiving Yards, 2 Receiving TDs (Projected: 13 FP)
Jaylen Waddle is looking like this year is his breakout year. On this amazing day, he amassed 11 receptions for 171 receiving yards and two TDs. He also caught the game-winning TD with 14 seconds left. The Alabama connection with Tua Tagovailoa is special and these two youngsters are making noise in the AFC East.
Silver DAWG: Stefon Diggs 44.80 FP
12 Receptions, 148 Receiving Yards, 3 Receiving TDs (Projected: 18.10 FP)
Stefon Diggs balled out against the Tennessee Titans, where he had 12 catches on 14 targets for 148 yards and three TDs. It’s been an amazing start to the season for Diggs, as he had the most fantasy points by a WR in fantasy this week. As long as he and Josh Allen are on the same page, Stefon might be the top WR for fantasy this year.
Bronze DAWG: Tyreek Hill 42 FP
11 Receptions, 190 Receiving Yards, 2 Receiving TDs (Projected: 16.59 FP)
Tyreek Hill is a game-changer. His speed helped start the Dolphins’ rally as he torched the Ravens for 190 yards and two TDs in the second half. Tua Tagovailoa looks very comfortable with Tyreek, and they could be a problem for the Buffalo Bills in Week 3.
Golden FRAUD: Darnell Mooney 0.60 FP
1 Reception, -4 Receiving Yards (Projected: 11.93 FP)
It has been a rough start to the season for Darnell Mooney. In Week 2, he got only one reception for negative yards. The Bears have barely thrown the ball as Justin Fields has only attempted 28 passes through two games. Many were expecting Mooney to break out this year, but that may be put on hold.
Silver FRAUD: Justin Jefferson 10.80 FP
6 Receptions, 48 Receiving Yards (Projected: 21.31 FP)
Darius Slay made Justin Jefferson‘s night difficult in their Week 2 matchup. Slay limited Jefferson to just six catches and 48 yards. Slay also had two interceptions that were for Justin Jefferson. Jefferson will have a great matchup when he faces the Lions in Week 3.
Bronze FRAUD: Davante Adams 9.20 FP
2 Receptions, 12 Receiving Yards, 1 Receiving TD (Projected: 19.48 FP)
The Arizona Cardinals’ defense had a game plan, and it was to stop Davante Adams. Adams was limited to just two catches on seven targets for 12 yards and a TD. It will be difficult to stop Davante again, so you can expect him to bounce back in Week 3 against the Titans.
