Betting, Gambling

Isolation Isn’t Always a Bad Thing

You have to learn from a quarantine!

Isolation isn’t always a bad thing.

Yeah, in most prison movies sure, but how many of you are getting your Easter Sunday meal shoved through a ”bean slot” in the door to your cell?

How many sayings have you heard? A thousand-mile journey starts with a step. Eating an elephant one bite at a time. Yadda, yadda. You get it!

Right now, with entire states locked down, if you can’t get better at something, you’re probably lazy! We’re talking 30 minutes a day! You don’t agree? Well look in your nearest mirror and talk to him/her because you’re lying to somebody. (That’s right him/her because more and more ladies are becoming sport bettors.) That’s a total of one half of one hour. Exactly 18 thousand seconds and probably less time than most of us take just to get to work and back.

If you’re a North American sports bettor, it’s a no-brainer. Soccer. Yup, soccer. The same sport most of us (especially in the USA) don’t actually watch, never mind wager on. The same game that dwarfs our four major sports if you added them together. Did you know that the last World Cup alone had more than five times the wagering of the last four Super Bowls combined? It was more than $130,000,000,000!

When we first started our show, Chris Martinez from DUDE told us why soccer is the best sport to bet on. He said, there are a bazillion teams and you just need to find a few. Think about how many of you have shown a profit in the NFL for an entire season. There are more soccer teams in England alone than the NFL has in its two conferences. Check out FlashScore.com, it’s to soccer as Sherdog.com is to UFC. There are over 300 countries with soccer results. 300!

Spend a few minutes during April (since this one is probably gonna last longer than past months of the same name) checking out one of the leagues that are still holding matches. (Sure, you’re gonna notice that most are brutal regimes where the players have no choice but to continue playing because the safety of their entire family is at stake because of a narcissistic dictator – but that’s an article for another day.) Look at their home/away records, their average goals for/against per game and plan on having Live Action because so much in soccer happens after the 70th minute. Pay attention, maybe keep some notes and by the time your friends are complaining about how much they lost Sunday on the early NFL games you’ll be good enough at betting on soccer that you’ll be able to loan them some money from your futbol winnings!

If you want any help, join us at SportsBettingLessons.com and we’ll email you out some thoughts on soccer. There’s nothing wrong with looking for a little help when your goal is to…
